This story popped up on my recommended feed and I simply liked the blurb, thought it would fill in the evening and of course it was only 99p. So all good!

Then the first few chapters happened and I was a little sceptical as I didn't warm to Evelyn but again figured it was only 99p so , it was still cheap and would fill in the evening.

Then...I started to like her.

By then I was already loving Storm, but it was a story very much leaning towards liking her to pull it off. Simply because she had let her life just slow to a dull ride where she worried herself into being ill - panic attacks and depression. Whether her rut happened because of the depression or her depression happened because of her rut I never really figured out, but then that could be clever writing on the part of Ms' Cole, or simple an unintended confusion that is actually fitting with depression.

Michael ... well I don't think he was a bad person, but he was a cowardly one. He was an unhealthy aid rather than a good love interest and deserved to havd his eye wipped. Nuff said.

The book is simply written, in particular the earlier chapters. Slight signs of immaturity in both characters that had words used like 'screamed' irritated me. In particular with Storm. Men don't scream unless they're being sawn in two by a crazed killer and only then if the author can't find a better word. When they get impatient or annoyed or exasperated, the shout, yell, call out, even roar. But not scream. That one word made me view Storm as childish. ...but only briefly. Thankfully the improvement in the authors handling and writing was actually very noticible aa the chapters unfolded. And from that point, my cheap 99p book became one of those little unexpected treasures.

5 Blizzard stars

The blurb for this book really intrigued me. Two people forced by nature to spend 48 hours together? One hot man who isn’t used to women saying no to him, one feisty and sassy woman not giving into the temptation that is Storm? Perfect combination for this amazing book.
Carian nailed it with her first book. It’s touching, funny, talks about serious topics in a well written way and is hot as hell!
Evelyn has been in a relationship with Michael for 12 years but isn’t happy with him. Not that she knows it, she slowly realizes it throughout the book. The temptation and excitement that is Storm makes her second guess what she has and has known most of her life. Storm isn’t one to turn down a challenge but will soon be realizing it’s not just a challenge to him, it’s his life. Evelyn started as an introvert character but develops into a strong woman throughout the book and it’s amazing to see her overcome her fears and anxiety both on her own and with Storm’s help when Michael is failing her and their relationship.
While this book talks about panic attacks, anxiety and depression, it’s not the main focus. It really is all about realizing how you are living your life and that you have to do what makes you happy and that’s exactly what Evelyn does.
All of the secondary characters, even the ones who only make an appearance once or twice are really strong and you want to know more about them. The short background you get on each of the members is making you want to know more about them.
I personally cannot wait to read Vandal’s story! The short excerpt at the end makes you want this book like yesterday!
Well done Carian for this amazing first book. She’s a new author you’ll have to keep an eye on!
I’d recommend this story to anyone who is into rockers, hot alpha male and touching love stories with a deep background. Prepare a box of tissues.

MY REVIEW
Storm is a book in the familiar genre of bad boy rock star, throw in a romance, a love story and you've always got a winner for me. But this story has a refreshing and different spin on it making it so much more.
I cannot believe this is Carian Coles first novel, brilliant.
Storm and Evie are total strangers who are stranded for a few days in a truck with nothing but each other, Storms giant dog, a little food and a heaping lot of sexual tension.
Storm, loved him right from the start he was all sorts of sexy, with a smart mouth. But what i really liked was when the relationship started to develop it was Storm that did he chasing he pursued Evie, that's so hot. Storm had this down to earth honesty about him, he wasnt the typical arrogant rocker and i loved all his family.
Evie, had some good smart mouth comments for Storm and there interactions in the truck were funny, but i have to say she frustrated me to a point that I really disliked her at times. I wanted to shake her and tell her to just go with it! Her low self esteem and past events obviously contributed to her tooing and frowing, but man i got irritating. Thank goodness she came to her senses.
This book is such a fantastic start to a series and cannot wait to read Vandals book, i will definitly be reading all this series for sure.

So unbelievably good

Its deep, funny, hot and so much more.

This is not like any other rock star romance i've read recently, Evie is oblivious to Storms fame when they meet and he doesn't enlighten her either.

Trapped in a snow blizzard for two days keeping each other warm in a cramped car and annoying each other is just the start of this relationship.

Storm is surrounded by false things the world of fame delivers and his desire is normal even a normal beautiful girl like Evie but could insecure Evie be in his world.

This fateful start grows into a beautiful friendship.

It's a bit of a roller coaster, Evie has issues, a past of depression a douche of a boyfriend but wow what a ride reading this and summarising I'd say it's beautiful & brilliant.

Recommended rockstar romance, sort of love triangle & yep as always there's angst with a jealous bitch lurking & I loved it.
Enjoy :-)
