With some prequels of popular and much loved serials, 'Stories for Amanda' provides the perfect introductory platform to experience the early makings to some of my favourite stories, while supporting such an worthy cause. I immensely enjoyed the novellas by Kahlen Aymes, Madeline Sheehan, Rayne Miller, Michelle A. Valentine, Karina Halle and Kelly Elliott. A few stories also focused on the effects of bullying in high-school too, emphasising very clearly its intended message in full...
Bullying happens every second of everyday. It does not discriminate. At school, at a workplace, even at home...And not only can it destroy lives, it has the power to take them - such was the tragedy in the case of Amanda Todd. Sadly Amanda was not the first, she is one of many. Bullying is a global disease and happens to most of us at some point in our lifetime.
As an avid reader, blogger and fan of contemporary romance, it is my hope that you help support these authors who have freely taken the time in raising awareness of this social disease and purchase a copy of 'Stories for Amanda' today!
I love to read and to see some of my favourite authors all united to support such a worthy cause just makes me smile. All proceeds go to The Amanda Todd legacy in support of Bullying
Im not going to lie but I was really looking forward to Kahlen Aymes contribution in giving us more Ryan and Julia from The Remembrance Trilogy.
I want to read about them till they are old and Grey.
Michelle Valentine gives us more Noel and Lane in a Black Falcon prequel and Madeline Sheehan gives us a story that is different from her bikers.
Kelly Elliott., Raine Miller, E.K.Blair the list is Endless.
For the price of a coffee you can do your bit for such a worthwhile cause.

I have made it through about half of the stories in here over the past two days and I have loved each of the ones I've read so far. Hoping by E.k. Blair gave me more insight into the life of Mark, a character I first read about in her book Freeing. Meeting his sister's Erin and Emily and seeing what his life was like before he left for college and met Jase was just an added bonus. And to see how Erin gets treated because of Mark just brought home for me the stigma that gay people and their families are subjected to.
Love is Blind by Claire Contreras was a very heartfelt look at what gay people go through when people bully them, they aren't accepted by family members, and how difficult it is for them to find the strength to make it through each day and find the good in the world, and hopefully someday to find love and happiness.
Defying the Dust by Karina Halle was fantastic!! I absolutely loved seeing Ellie and Camden when they were in high school! Her Artist's Trilogy is probably in my top five favorites of her books and going back and seeing these two years before those books took place was such a treat! I can never get enough of Ellie and Camden.
Priceless was my absolute favorite of the stories. Seeing Gaby and Ivan's first official introduction to each other was the best! Raine writes the most amazing characters and I just love reading her books. She has created a beautifully intricate world of characters, both historical and contemporary and I can honestly say I will never, ever get tired of reading about her beloved characters.
Just Breathe was a fantastic little short story from Madeline Sheehan. It was an honest look into what high school life is like. How ruthless and mean kids can be to each other, and how amazing and refreshing it is to meet a kindred spirit. I would absolutely love for Madeline to turn this short story into a full length book, giving us more of Katie and Nick. Really, really good story!
And Rock the Beginning by Michelle Valentine gives us the before story of Lane and Noel!! Her Black Falcon series is one of my favorite rocker series of all time. Seeing Lane and Noel in high school and what their hopes and dreams were before we meet them for the first time in Rock the Heart was a great inside look. Reading Rock the Heart, we get a little background on what happened but Rock the Beginning gives us the meat and potatoes of their past and what they meant to each other, how they felt about each other and what they had hoped to achieve together. Great little story!
Those are the ones I've read so, I'll update my review as I finish reading the rest.
My first go to story was “When I Met You” By Kahlen Aymes. To say I love this trilogy would be an understatement! After I read this short story I wanted to go right back and read the series again. When you've read a series a few times like I've read this one, you think you have every milestone uncovered. Think Again!
I loved it! Now I need more Ryan!
The generosity of these 16 authors is amazing to say the least. To donate their time and talents to such an attention needed cause is a reflection of why we all love them so much. Every one of thee authors take this sensitive subject to heart. I have so much respect for them to stand up and say “what can I do to help?” And follow through!
Now let’s do our part! Buy this book! You won’t be disappointed.
My favorite story is Priceless by Raine Miller. How fantastic to finally have the details of what happened between Ivan and Gabrielle at the gallery. We all had our suspicions going by what Ethan Blackstone said in All In but wow to read the details was fantastic. Lord Ivan and Gabrielle are one hot couple that is for sure.
What a story....and now to wait for the whole book by the genius Raine Miller.
It was fabulous to read stories related to the characters I love and to books/series that I have loved this year. In my case the stories by Raine Miller, E.K. Blair and Karina Halle.
Please buy and recommend this book to others. 100% of the proceeds to continue the fight against bullying via amandatoddlegacy.org <3
These stories range from junior high, to adulthood and some don't have anything to do with bullying, but several do. Unfortunately, while these works are fiction, they are very real and very much events that occur on a daily basis across the world.
Some of these stories brought tears to my eyes, and while I may not have experienced somse of these events they really were heartbreaking to think about. Girl or boy, middle school, high school, college, none of these things should ever be condoned and allowed to happen. It is unfortunate how vicious people can be.
This book was amazing, and I adored the mini stories and discovered some new authors I'd like to look into.
May this girl, and all of the other children who were taken from life too soon rest in peace.
My favourite story was Defying the Dust by Karina Halle:
Teenage Camden McQueen - abused by his dad, bullied in school, being called "freak" by everyone. He is considered to be too different, to be out of the norm. But what is normal anyway?
"I just grinned at the old woman, hoping she'd see the real me underneath. I may have dressed like a goth but I wasn't about to knock her over and steal her handback."
This one shor is basically a story of how Camden and Ellie (characters from The Artists Trilogy) met for the first time. It is written in Camden POV and a must-read for all The Artists Trilogy fans!
"But there was a strange sort of confidence in her handshake just as there was a strange sort of vulnerability in her eyes. She was already an enigma to me."
