I got this for my husband's birthday after a trip to India hoping for a book with some lovely photos of the buildings of the Raj. It is an interesting book with plenty of pictures, but there is far more prose than photos and those photos there are are often small and all black and white.
He has enjoyed it very much, but if you are looking for a picture book rather than narrative , then this is probably not the one for you.
