I really loved the earlier book, but am even more excited to read this new one! I find the new information about Stonehenge and the mysterious Preseli bluestone cutting edge. I really love that the book is esoteric as well as scientific, and very well researched! I have a degree in archaeology and the study of religion, as well as being a spiritually minded person. Thus, this book satisifies all sides of this in me and my life-long questions and passion for Stonehenge. Why did they move those stones...how did they move those stones? There are so many questions and theories to such an important momument being built in this way. We need people to try to understand this technology unknown to us in modern times through truly being able to think "out of the box" and put forth the information bravely. Obviously, ancient temples and stone circles all around the world moved special types of stones unbelievable distances and heights with great weight. It was intrinsic to these spiritual traditions, yet we do not have this capability now with all our modern conveniences. I feel it is extremely crucial to our times that we re-discover this wisdom. I am grateful that this book exists to help lead the way in truly understanding our past, so that we can help our present and future. Thank you!

Very short. Very little strongly evidence-based archaeology so not a great deal here for serious Stonehenge researchers. There are rather tangential sections on William Blake, Celtic crosses, the correct name of the Preseli outcrop, plus instructions on how to meditate using a bluestone fragment. A brief quote: 'Bluestone is considered by many to be sacred or magic, with unique metaphysical properties connecting to the expanding universe and the illusive spiritual realms.' Up to you to decide if this is complete turn-off or a big turn-on.

I greatly appreciate the new extended version of this book! The information regarding the recent archaeological discoveries at sites near Stonehenge are crucial to understanding its true function and interaction. We cannot look at Stonehenge as an isolated phenomenon. It is part of a greater picture and a glimpse into the mind and motivation of the ancient builders. It goes without saying, that this book is groundbreaking in more than one sense. Without the analysis and discussion about these new discoveries, we cannot proceed in our understanding or know the true importance of Stonehenge. Understandably, it is the most well-known sacred monument in the world. When we see it as part of a network of sacred sites with interacting purpose, we can better comprehend other sites around the world.

I also find it very helpful to read about the bluestone properties of healing and metaphysical properties. We cannot separate the spiritual/religious significance for the ancients from their technologies and science. It is common that modern society views itself as superior to the ancients, yet that is a misconception. We have a lot to learn about the technologies of the past and those which were used to create Stonehenge with specific sacred stones such as the bluestone. This book helps to shed light on what the ancients were up to and what they can teach us that will be useful to the times we live in now.

This is an expanded version of the earlier free study by the same author. It is a thoughtful study into the use and unique properties of the Bluestone from the Preseli mountains. An investigation into stone age technology and philosophy as a forgotten wisdom of our ancestors.
Reading this book was illuminating and thought provoking an insight into the Bluestone culture as a basis for awakening consciousness.
