I am the author of a Culture Crime Series that includes GOLDEN ICON, MASTERPIECE, BOOK OF HOURS and STOLEN SCRIPT. I have also published a love story ELLIE BRAVO and two books of short stories: BEDTIME READS and RED SHOES. My background is in travel and tourism and I use my experiences of living and travelling abroad and knowledge of locations as an integral part of scenes in my novels. I have a passion for history and cultural heritage. I love to see people maintain deep-rooted traditions. Identity is an important part of us all and I believe understanding the lives of others creates respect and unity in our society. My cultural crime series allows me to develop characters and to explore right and wrong whilst writing about our world heritage, art and ethnicity. Please read my blog for more information on my books and the research for my novels. I am currently working on my next novel in the Cultural Crime Series.

I thought this was an interesting read, with a fast moving plot, and exotic locations. The attention to detail was great, locations felt real, as well as the "art history" bits adding to the plot. I was especially glad to see the Mikky return for this adventure. Having followed her in previous novels in the series, I think she's coming into her own much more confidently as a great character, conflicted and interesting.
