About the Author

Before topping multiple bestseller lists including those of the New York Times, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal Elisabeth Naughton taught middle school science. A voracious reader, she soon discovered she had a knack for creating stories with a chemistry of their own. The spark turned into a flame, and Naughton now writes full-time. Her books have received nominations for some of the industry s most prestigious awards, such as the RITA and Golden Heart Awards from Romance Writers of America, the Australian Romance Reader Awards, and the Golden Leaf Award. When not dreaming up new stories, Naughton enjoys spending time with her husband and three children in their western Oregon home.

The endorsement on the cover states that: "If you like Indiana Jones and Romancing The Stone, you'll love...I haven't seen either movies but I do know I loved Elisabeth Naughton's Stolen Fury! I met a confidant, brazen and smart woman who is joined by a roguish thief with a killer accent. Together they form a dynamite couple on the hunt for the third and last Fury.

Immediately I was taken by the fluent, easy going writing style of Naughton that acquainted me with Dr. Lisa Maxwell in Jamaica as she explored a cave and makes a discovery. Upon giving a lecture at an auditorium she meets Rafe and my oh my it's like fuel meets a match, they burn together...until Lisa wakes up the next morning.

If there is one thing that got me from the beginning is the inflammable interaction between Lisa and Rafe, they make their interaction a verbal duel that becomes enthralling to follow. Where I expected to receive more of an actual artifact hunt I got character driven storylines. For the main characters the drive to find all three Furies has an emotional background which becomes more evident throughout the story. The action is still substantial as multiple treasure hunters seek the possession of all three Furies too but there are no tombs to explore or chambers to unlock with ancient artifacts. Instead there is a romance driven adventure where the hunt for the third Fury is an exciting accelerant.

I fell head over heels for Rafe with his roguish charms and his calculated ways. He is an international art thief and he is a liar but has a heart for certain matters that made mine answer in return. He hides so much more than initially assumed and he is part of what made me flip the pages.

I really enjoyed this book however, when I first purchased it, it was because I thought it was a 3 part series with the same characters. When I read the end of this book I was so looking forward to seeing what happened next to Rafe and Lisa. I was extremely disappointed when I soon found out that the book 2 was about some other characters from book one and that the story of Rafe Lisa had ended. I didn't bother downloading book 2 or 3 as I then lost interest. The story of Rafe and Lisa in book 1 had me hooked, I just wish the author had followed them as main people in book 2.

Literally just finished the third and final book in the Stolen series and loved all of them! Well written and developped characters, with a great plot. And I loved the strong female characters in all 3 books! Definitely worth downloading the first book, it's free, and I'm sure will have you purchasing the two books which follow!

I loved the dynamic between the two characters. Normally I don't like the instant attraction in books, but it was played out very well. Humorous strong female lead and an equally as lovely male. I could feel the passion and tension. A very good read. I recommend it

This is a very good book! Full of passion, mystery, adventure, an interesting plot that gets the attention from the start and a gallery of captivating characters.

In the center of everything, are the Furies, 3 lost ancient Greek pieces; together, they are a fortune. Dr. Lisa Maxwell finds one of these pieces only to get it stolen one night by a seductive thief, Rafe Sullivan, not a completely immoral and heartless thief, but a thief nonetheless. Lisa finds him and demands the piece back, but Rafe needs the Furies for personal reasons. The best they can do is compromise and together find the 3rd piece - Rafe already had one before stealing Lisa's.

However, they aren't the only ones looking for the Furies and their lives are in danger.

It was a pleasure to read this book. Rafe and Lisa are the kind of characters that fit so well in the story, it's irresistable to continue reading.

A Vague Description of Events
Dr Lisa Maxwell is an archaeologist of some renown. Rafe Sullivan is an international antiquities thief. A professional in all respects as he works Lisa. However the tables turn emotionally when they are thrown together to find the relics known as the Furies. It's an all out adventure as they troll through the Bahamas and underwater caves in search of said items.
The Good Stuff.
I really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't the typical swooning female/macho man or man deciding that female is better off without him combo. Both parties know what they want and don't take too long about it which leaves more storytelling time for the hunt..Even though there are quite a few characters, there aren't so many that you can't remember from one page to the next who they are. All in all it was a light hearted read that brings back a bit of faith in the old humanity stakes. Picked it up a few hours ago as a free read cos it had a decent amount of pages and am really pleased that i did. have just put it down having finished it. Kept me reading the whole time, didn't even get up to make a cup of coffee!!
The Bad Stuff
I wouldn't really say that it's bad cos it's kind of in keeping with the feel of the book, but the sexy scenes could've been just a little bit sexier, but it's not a major complaint by any means.
Ugly Stuff
None. it's all good.
