This is Caleb Jones' story, the best friend and partner of Brett from book one. Caleb tragically lost his fiance in a car accident five years ago. Not only is Caleb crippled by the grief of losing her but he's also eaten up with hate for Sarah Erickson. She was his fiance's best friend and Caleb believes she was the cause of the horrific accident that stole her away from him.
The Emma Jane Erickson walks into his life and knocks him on his ass. For the first time in years he's feeling something other than hate and grief. But will he be able to get over the fact that his little Emmy is the sister of the woman he believes took everything from him; Sarah.
This is another great book from Aly Martinez, an emotional and gut-wrenching read. It has so many ups and downs that it's one of those books that leaves you an emotional wreck afterwards but aren't those the best kinds of books?
Aly Martinez has certainly wrecked and ruined me with this series so far, but I just cannot wait for more!

I liked the previous book but loved this.

If ever there was a roller coaster read this is it, my emotions were everywhere.

Brett the hot detective with a whole truck load if baggage was a pig headed frustrating character to follow but it all added to the angst.

Emma I loved her character, a woman with backbone and courage.

When this couple were hot they were really hot and when they were cold this stubborn couple could let hell freeze over.

Thankfully they got there in the end and the journey was epic.

Reading the previous book although with a focus on different characters it helps you fully appreciate this book as it plays a big part in seeing how the past has lead to the present and what all characters involved have been through.

Emma is sarahs sister from the previous book and other characters are also present in both.

Its a story of forgiveness, healing, moving forward, facing the future, excepting the present and it was excellent.

I've really enjoyed the Wrecked and Ruined series. Great characters and easy to love some of them. Story line fabulous. Little bit of everything, angst, sadness, fun and laughter. All round great read and worth the money. X

this again was an excellent read. I still preferred the changing lanes and you should read that first to get an idea regarding characters. but overall good read, fab characters and will not disappoint.

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

This follows on from (and runs parallel in places to) Changing Course - I would highly recommend that you read that book first as it rounds out many of the characters. That said this is a fabulous book all on its own.

The twists and turns in the plot are breathtaking; the storyline is dipped deep in grief and yet pulled up in hope. The writing is fluid and keeps the action going, yet by turns slows things down to moments of exquisite romance. I'm drained, yet energised by these two books.

My advice - get reading and give yourself a real treat!

***I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

I finished Stolen Course by Aly Martinez less than 24 hours ago, and its still playing on my mind This book was amazing. I have spent the day with a big grin on my face, and thinking about the very sexy tattooed Caleb Jones. The prologue took me by surprise, as I didn’t expect to be in tears so soon into the book, after that I was done for and I knew that Aly was again going to take me on that emotional rollercoaster which I love.

I was funny as just a few days before I had said that it had been awhile since I read a book that I didn’t want to put down, one that make me want to retreat to my book cave and shut the world out. Well yes, you guess it Stolen Course did that for me.

Okay, so here is the thing I can’t say well actually more like I won’t tell you about the storyline, as I think you need to go into knowing only the synopsis as the emotions you are going to feel should be first hand, but trust me when I say that Aly has done it again delivered a book that has a bit of everything I love. Caleb Jones and Emma Erickson’s story is heartbreaking and heart-warming at the same time. It was funny, romantic, with betrayal, mystery, angst, twists I didn’t see coming (well played Ms, Martinez … well played) and, plenty of sexy smut OMG the sexy smut was so good, and FYI Aly! I don’t think I will look at a butternut squash in the same way, again and a few more vegetables for that matter.

Aly know how to write men who have a way with words. Just like Brett (more about him later) Caleb just says and does things that will make you go weak at the knees.
