Lauren's writing style is imaginative and funny and there is a good range of projects in it, most of which are easy enough for a beginner to pick up. It makes for a really entertaining read, and gives you much more than just the patterns - it also really made me want to visit New York! The photography in the book is really well done, and gives you a good flavour of the City (that's if New York had been taken over by quirky knits, which is totally how it should be).
The dog outfits are just brilliant (you'll see) and it includes all of the iconic elements of New York, whilst making them quirky and fun. I love the tiny knitted King Kong so much.
This book would make a great gift, and so would most of the things in it.
I bought this as a present for my mum and she loves it.

As quirky, fun and energetic as New York itself. I haven't knitted anything from it yet, but the book is so much fun you don't need to pick up your yarn to enjoy it.Published 2 months ago by Speedster
