About the Author
Paul Duffield is an all-round angler based in Devon in the south west of England. He enjoys all kinds of angling but is most at home on a small overgrown river or stream with either coarse or fly tackle in hand. Paul describes himself as a 'traditional angler'. Having been born early in the second half of the 20th century and fished for over 40 years, he is attempting to rediscover and recapture the magic and excitement that he experienced when he first began fishing at 10 years old. A vintage fishing tackle enthusiast and restorer, Paul fishes with cane rods, centrepin reels and quill floats and likes nothing more than to spend a few hours by water in pursuit of fish.
