So simple yet so hard to do, so obvious and so elusive. I haven't meditated for quite a while, just didn't seem to work for me; but it always draws me back again, and Bodhipaksa's voice is compassionate and understanding, getting up 30 minutes earlier each morning to do mindfulness of breathing is a pleasure. Not sure it needs to be 2 discs, but would have paid the same for just disc 2. The trick with meditation is not to expect overnight revelations and spiritual breakthroughs, it's a slow, subtle process, and this cd is a really useful guide.
I had listened to guided meditations by this author before and I love his style. His tone and the spaces he leaves for reflection and the examples he uses make him an excellent listen for first timers and those finding they have questions about meditation techniques. He is very down to earth, but knows his stuff and it really shows.
