The taste is really good, it has a tiny cooling aftertaste from erythritol but it's not overpowering. I needed a good sugar substitute for low carb baking. Tried many different brands already. I decided to try this one as my usual brand was out of stock. This one is more like caster sugar, works great in cakes, cookies etc but not that great for meringues or buttercream as it takes ages to fully dissolve. I was beating egg whites for a very long time and I could still feel tiny grains of the sweetener in my meringue. Meringue had a weird crumbly texture when baked but taste wise was OK. As for the sweetness - it's definetely more sweet than regular sugar but wouldn't say it's twice more sweet. Another bonus is the handy tube which prevents moisture from the air from getting into sweetener (most sweeteners I tried get rock hard when left in the re-sealable bag which never can be air tight closed). I will buy again as I like to bake but cannot eat sugar. Good value for money.

    I used to buy Truvia, but took a chance on this one as it had good reviews and the jar is massive. I wasn't disappointed. Tastes divine! I use it in tea (which I drink a lot of!) and to sprinkle over my fruit and yoghurt. It is very good value for money and I am happy with the ingredients (no nasty chemicals).
