Steven hails from England, though he’s a natural-born-nomad, and has lived and worked on 5 continents and visited close to 60 countries. Like his fictional inspiration Indiana Jones, Steven has a degree in archaeology, anthropology and art history, and when not crafting stories that bring all those elements together he can be found gallivanting the world with his travel writer wife while looking for the next exciting location for his Hiram Kane action thriller series. All of Steven’s novels are set in places he has either lived in or spent extended time, combining that age-old writing adage with his own mantra; write 'where you know', not only 'what you know'.
When not on the road, Steven and Leslie hang out at their home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, with their cats Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Steven likes wine, beer, books, burritos, travel and culture in equal measure, and since you’ve taken the time to read down to here, (switching to 1st person) I hope you'll click the 'FOLLOW' button above so you don't miss out on future releases, the next coming very soon.
(Back to 3rd person) Steven has recently published the first three instalments of his action thriller series, 'The Tiger Temple', 'The Samurai Code', and 'The Condor Prophecy', to great acclaim!
Early tributes for 'The Samurai Code':
“Starts fast and doesn't let up.”
“An unremitting whirl throughout.”
“Thrilling from start to finish.”
“Great action, history & a dash of mystery.”
“Fast-paced and brilliantly written adventure thriller.”
"Moore has a crisp, economical style, and sets the scene well. The story, while bleak, is shot through with moments of pathos...compelling from start to finish" - Mark Dawson, bestselling author of the John Milton, Beatrix Rose, Isabella Rose and Soho Noir series.
Steven has also published a well-received literary coming of age novel, 'I Have Lived Today', as well as a popular short story, 'The Death of Helena.'
