I have been a Christian for nearly 18 years and have found a much greater freedom and peace myself through the ministry of Neil Anderson and through following the steps to freedom. I have also used these steps many times in ministry to others. I would fully recommend this book - and I would absolutely recommend freedom in Christ ministries to every Christian and believe every single Child of God could benefit from setting themselves free from spiritual oppression in this way.

Never got past the first chapter as I took Dr Anderson's advice! I got rid of anything 'superstitious'. This included his book!
Too much emphasis on reciting carefully worded incantations to set yourself free from supposed 'curses' and spiritual bondage. Its easier just to read the bible and believe that the truth has set you free!

I am a Christian counsellor just organising an inter-church women's study and support group based on the principles in this book after paticipating in a weekend called Important Steps to Freedom in Christ. I believe it will be of great help to those locked into repetitive & prolonged patterns of self-defeating behaviours based on what I saw and experienced last weekend. I am looking forward to seeing these women emerge and fly!

This book is not meant to be read in isolation it is part of the Freedom in Christ course and as such is excellent. To fully benefit from it's content you would need to read other books by Neil Anderson first or attend the course.

It's not a lengthy work, but it is a important one. It addresses a number of issues which may or may not be hindering you in your walk with God. Some things mentioned might seem wild and unlikely things that you might need to address, but don't forget that this is a book for everyone and so many options have been presented to help people to recognise the sins of their past. I think that all Christians can benefit from the prayers contained within the book and we all could do with coming to God with our hearts open and asking him to show us where we are hindered and where we are shackled and allow him to open our eyes and free us as he longs to. This is a great book to sit down and go through in one long session or over a number of sessions, preferably with someone wise and experienced, but also potentially alone. Challenging and freeing. The author has a number of other books which are more detailed and are worth reading if you enjoy this one.

This course is really worth-while. We recommend it to everyone in our church. It helps you get closer to God and helps you think in a new way. It is a good idea to go through it once a year. We have used it both with individuals and with groups.

I read this book after attending a weekend using this book & it was excellent. It has inspired me to set up a women's group for those who want to move on in Christ, and I've just been sponsored to take the leader's course at the end of the month as part of my pastoral ministry.
This isn't a book to just read - it's a book to help you take action - go for it!!
