I absolutely loved the first book in "The Fowler Sisters Series" entitled Owning Violet" and I couldn't wait to read the second book which gave us Caden and Rose's story. Monica has delivered another fantastic read with " Stealing Rose" and I was not disappointed.

You will most probably have already guessed that this story is all about Rose, the youngest of the three Fowler sisters. I instantly liked Rose and I also felt kinda sorry for her. As the baby sister, she had lived her life constantly in the shadows of Violet and Lilly, her two older sisters, struggling to find her own identity. Rose was itching to do something for herself rather than what was expected of her from her family and she was on the verge of rebelling against everything that had been forced into her life. So when she meets Caden Kingsley her plan of putting herself first sprung into action.

As soon as Caden and Rose met there was a instant attraction. A spark. The pair were pulled together like magnets and a deliciously sexy adventure began between the pair. Lucky Rose had found someone to rebel with. Caden and Rose were insatiable, spending every minute they could wrapped up in each other's arms. They were one hot couple. But the more time they spent together the more I worried for Rose. Caden was a bad boy and I was convinced that the lovely Rose was going to get hurt.

Caden Kingsley was extremely sexy but he was also a secretive rogue who I did not trust one bit. He hid so many things from Rose and I was certain that their relationship was going to end in heartbreak. I just did not like this scoundrel at all and I couldn't see how the couple could have a future together. However something happened in the story that totally changed my way of thinking towards Caden.

OH MY, Monica Murphy really does create the best anti-heroes. Seriously the male protagonists are going to make you quiver in both good and bad ways ;) Having both Caden and Ryder in the same book is almost combustible.

Rose, the youngest of the three Fowler sisters, and as such suffers from feelings of inadequacy. Living in the shadow of her older sisters and the ghost of her mother has seriously affected her self-confidence. I could easily relate to Rose as I am the youngest child and was continually compared to my older siblings. It is the curse of being the youngest. However, I think Rose is a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for. A point that becomes more evident as the story progresses.

Caden underwent a major life change during his teens as a result of his father. Leading him to re-evaluate his life and take the easy option available to him. While he has had moments of conscious over his life choices, he is generally content to life his life on the edge. Until he meets Rose. There is just something about her that makes him want to be a better man for her. SWOON.

Both Rose and Caden view their attraction as purely physical and limit their involvement to a specific time period and casual relationship :(

Although we all know that the course of true love never does run smooth. Dealing with family issues and the continuing unease amplified with the Pilar situation, adds to the tension within the plot. I loved seeing the continuation of Violet and Ryder’s relationship within the story, providing a deeper connection to both the character and the events.

Stealing Rose is a full steam ahead, action packed romance interwoven with finding yourself and your place in the world.

I am completely and hopelessly in love. The first book in this series (Owning Violet) wasn't for me, so I was a little nervous to pick up Stealing Rose, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about, because I don't think it would be possible to love this book any more than I do. It was fantastic!!!

Right from the very start I was hooked, and I read the entire book in one sitting, which is practically unheard of for me these days. I just couldn't bring myself to put this book down.

I loved the character of Rose, but the person who truly stole my heart was Caden. SWOOOOOON!!!! I need a Caden Kingsley in my life! I loved the twist to the story, that at one stage caused me anxiety because I just needed to know how it would all turn out! And the entire book as a whole, was just perfection to me. I loved it so much!!

Stealing Rose made me remember exactly why I fell in love with this author's writing the very first time. Without a doubt, Monica Murphy's strongest work to date since One Week Girlfriend.
You NEED to read it.

I gave Stealing Rose 4.5 Stars.

Do you ever read a book just at the right time? For me, Stealing Rose was that book. I was after something light, sexy and hot. And Monica Murphy provided all three.

Rose is the youngest of the Fowler sisters and in need of a break from the family business. In Cannes, Rose decides to be reckless for once and that’s when she bumps into smooth talker Caden. Rose puts her moment of madness behind her and travels on to London to visit Violet, only to find it’s a small world after all and the mysterious Caden also happens to be there.

After a sexy bathroom meet, a clandestine, whirlwind romance ensues and I loved watching the two characters grow. Rose was the quiet girl, always going with the flow and never speaking out at the company. During her time with Caden, she slowly began to find her voice and realised it was time for her to do what she wanted to do.

"I sort of like how mysterious Caden is. I know nothing beyond his first name, the taste of his lips, and the wonderful things he can do to me with his fingers. And I'm thinking maybe that's plenty enough."

Caden was a bad boy. So much so, I really did wonder how Monica would swing it that I would fall for him and want him to be the guy for Rose. Of course, Monica nailed it. I loved Caden, his history wasn’t squeaky clean and if it was one of my girlfriends I’d be telling her to run a mile, but it’s fiction and for this story I went with it because I felt the connection between the characters and wanted them to experience happiness they both rightly deserved.

"He marked me. It felt so primitive and possessive, seeing those fingerprints on my skin. I've never been a man's profession before. But I feel like his.
