I was introduced to Ryan Winfield through his debut book, South of Bixby Bridge. I loved that book. I've read it twice and will read it again. The Park Service books are very different and aimed at a different audience. They are not the sort of books I would usually read but I thoroughly enjoyed them. State of Nature is a very fitting end to what was a brilliant adventure for the characters. Aimed at young adults, the series is thought provoking and intelligent. Would definitely recommend.

Loved all three books of this trilogy, the state of nature wrapped up the story brilliantly. The epilogue had a final and very sad twist. Loved the relationship between Aubrey and Jimmy and loathed Hannah who was completely heartless.

Really enjoyed these and I think they'd make a great film. If you like Hunger Games/Divergent series, you'll probably like these :-)
