This book goes in to a lot of detail, sometimes a bit too much, but it discusses a whole range of research into how you can best improve your egg and sperm quality. We aren't currently trying for a baby again yet but this book has helped me put an action plan into place so that I can feel, in some way, in control of an uncontrollable situation, and give me confidence that I am doing all I can to minimise my risk of another miscarriage.
If you suffer from PCOS or are struggling with IVF, depleted ovarian reserve or recurrent miscarriage, this is well worth a read.
I threw out all our plastic kitchen stuff and bought ceramic/glass containers and bowls etc. No takeaways as they come hot in plastic. No disposable coffee cups or receipts. No perfume. Only use moisturisers that are natural like Faith organics. Bodyshop would also be fine.
Also bought a water filter and cut out alcohol and caffeine. Also cut out a lot of sugar and refined carbohydrates. After 14 months TTC I have a positive pregnancy test today - about 2 months after buying this book.
