Product Description

About the Author

Leslie McAdam is a California girl who loves romance, Little Dude, and well-defined abs. She lives in a drafty old farmhouse on a small orange tree farm in Southern California with her husband and two small children. Leslie always encourages her kids to be themselves - even if it means letting her daughter wear leopard print from head to toe. An avid reader from a young age, she will always trade watching TV for reading a book, unless it's Top Gear. Or football. Leslie is employed by day but spends her nights writing about the men you fantasize about. She's unapologetically sarcastic and notoriously terrible at comma placement. Always up for a laugh, Leslie tries to see humor in all things. When she's not in the writing cave you'll find her fangirling over Beck, camping with her family, or mixing up oil paints to depict her love of outdoors on canvas.

Excellent page turner.

Loved all the antagonism between our gorgeous hero and his fiesty heroine. It just built and built. There are some great characters in this book and I liked how the author seemed to get into the head of a guy and know exactly how they think. The descriptions of the scenery, bunk house and even the way the children interacted was spot on and made it all more real. I particualraly liked the description of the earthquake. I could almost feel it myself! It was the little details like this that made the book such a good read.

I loved this book. The characters were different from what I've read about lately and they most definitely thought they were too different to get along - were they wrong, yes they was, but it was a fun and sexy ride while they found their way.

Will is a man, big and strong, arrogant, hot-headed and opinionated little does he know that his met his match in Marie! Marie is a woman with strong morals and strong beliefs, including politics. Upon meeting the rude Will, which is not the most conventional meeting, She takes a dislike to him but does find him physically attractive.

What appears as two polar opposites, turn out more alike than they could believe, yes there's fireworks in and out the bedroom. These are no spring chickens they're 32 and 34 and have had sex before, lots of it appears, but together they have really interesting and fun Sex sessions *fans self*.

I laughed myself silly at points in this book and couldn’t help but draw comfort from the fact that there are some sources of political commentary at the moment that should really read this and then take stock of the fact that they just take themselves too seriously!
This was a funny, sexy read, one that didn’t take too much thinking about and but one that blew away the political clouds that seems to like waft around and linger like a bad smell.
So what the heck was going on in the author head when she penned this little smasher and threw one democratic counsellor and a republican cowboy together because surely in anybody’s book, she was creating the recipe for a perfect disaster…well think again this pair are about to redraw their own political landscape!
Marie takes up a summer role, helping at Summer Camp, she loves what she does so the opportunity to become camp counsellor is the perfect way for her to spend her time. But meeting Will, the republican cowboy is the likes of which her political nightmares are made of and just might just get her dream job off to a nightmare start.
They may be at opposite ends of the political spectrum but that sure doesn’t seem to dampen their libido’s.
The heat is turn to intense and the banter and rhetoric is really funny but they soon learn that there are some aspects of their lives that they are both singing from the same hymn sheet…especially when it comes to events behind the bedroom door.
Marie is hard work at times and there was more than one occasion when I could have quite easily given her a kick up the butt.
But Will was more than a match and it was only because of him that I kept reading but when I flipped over the last page, I was glad that I had given this little read the change to brighten my day.

Leslie has once again delivered us a carefree, funny, sexy book with two characters who couldn't be any more different from one another! This book was so different than Leslie's first but no less amazing.

We have the hippy, vegan Democrat and the uber sexy, kinky, Republican cowboy. These characters will make you bust up laughing at the silly arguments and situations they have with one another and positively swoon at their hotter than hot kinkiness. These two clash heads from the get go but the sparks between these two are absolutely undeniable. Marie has accepted a summer internship at Headland's Ranch to work with underprivileged and special needs kids. Will wants nothing to do with the hippy liberal who works on his ranch but he can't deny that she is gorgeous. These two clash heads from the get go but the sparks between these two are absolutely undeniable. They soon learn that despite their many differences, they have a lot of similarities especially when it comes to the bedroom. Although I loved the characters, Marie got on my nerves a lot in the beginning when she kept on trying to test Will's capabilities of accepting her and her beliefs, despite their differing political beliefs.

I loved this book and the message it conveys about not judging a person solely based on a title such as Democrat/Republican. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next.
