I bought this cable to be able to project to a VGA projector in the classroom from my inking tablet. Unfortunately, the image produced by the cable has lots of shadows, which is inadequate for what I want. I'll be sure to buy the official Samsung micro HDMI to VGA cable next time around.

I wanted to connect my Windows tablet to a projector. Sadly this product simply doesn't work. I get a displaced picture using a projector which is not correct and I cannot get a picture of any sort on a flat screen TV using the PC input. I purchased a similar adaptor from the tablet manufacturer for only slightly more money and it works just fine for both types of display.

Does not work at all with Asus T100; just causes the computer to display static and hard crash with visual noise.

I just bought Yoga 2 Pro (3200x1800). I bought this cable to connect it to may Casio XJ-S35 (1024x768). It does not work. Image is same as if I connected w/o this cable i.e. projector image is magnified. I make presentations on the road so I need capability to connect to other projectors at conferences. I would like to know if there is an alternative to this cable. If not, I may have to return the Yoga 2 Pro.

I use this with my phone, to make it a backup video source for my presentations... in case my laptop dies. It works. It hasn't been 100% it has some quarky behavior, but it is worth the price and may be a show saver some day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Samsung Series 9 Laptops 25 Mar. 2013
By JMK - Published on Amazon.com
I needed to use my laptop today for a presentation but my laptop does not have a VGA port (Samsung Series 9). Worked perfectly with my laptop. I can now use the machine at presentations regularly. The chord is a bit stiff so having it in a bag will be annoying but it is a video chord so it's not something you want to bend.

Anyway, works great and much less expensive than the Samsung branded version.
