Heir to the empire is a brilliant start for anyone who is new to Star Wars novels, and even for more seasoned fans it's a great beginning for a new story.
There are plenty of new characters, as well as all the others that we know and love.
I am always saddened when i get to the end of the story. Not because of emotional events in the plot, but simply because I have reached the end, and I know that there are not many other books that I enjoy reading so much.
If i could rate this 10 stars I would.
To fully enjoy this you need a tablet, my smartphone screen just isn't quite big enough to appreciate it.
I admit that's my fault entirely for not reading the description properly.
I am still hoping that they do put some of the older stuff on though, I'd love to read this and stuff like the truce at bakura, the bounty hunter trilogy, darksaber, etc. Surely I can't be the only one that would buy these?
However the greatest thing about this book is the artwork. It's fairly untraditional, as the artists have a very distinct style, the characters are instantly reconizable although not rendered to look excately like actors of the movies. It works, and the grand and exciting drawings has all the style and action of the original movies - episode 4,5,6.

This was available on Amazon and then not. Can't now find the rest of the story. This is a shame.Published 19 months ago by G. Penman
Very misleading, the product description does not make it clear that this is a not a book but a comic.Published on 18 Aug. 2014 by Occasional Reviewer
Haven,t read Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire for years and as it isn't available on kindle this was the next best thing. Surely a great continuation of the original saga. Read morePublished on 27 July 2014 by Steven Smith
An enjoyable read with good graphics but I thought I had purchased the book. A bit dissapointed in that respect. It needs to be made a bit clearer in the bumf at the store page.Published on 21 April 2014 by Gary Wood
Was fun to pick up after Return Of The Jedi.. good to have some familiar characters and a fair tale to follow.. look forward to the next instalment.Published on 5 Feb. 2014 by Damo
It's not clear enough that this is not a written book but instead a graphic novel. Doesn't work well on Kindle.Published on 10 Dec. 2013 by Olly P
