Looks very good battle commands excellent but what does the microphone do?? This is the second one we tried and neither seemed to do very much.Overall build good but "clipping" it together will be a nightmare for some.I'm sure our grandson will love it ( provided we can convince him the voice amplifier/changer is working !!)
May the force be with you ( and us !! )

I bought this for my 5 year old son and am bitterly disappointed with it. It took us 45 minutes on Christmas morning to assemble it and its still not that solid. Also, it is definitely NOT a voice changer as it claims to be. The microphone only slightly amplifies your childs voice over feedback noises. Poor!

Hunted high and low for one of these for a christmas present for my son.

Keeping it short and sweet it's cr*p!

There's no way to actually strap the helmet to the kids head, which is fine as long as they don't move!
The "voice changer" the over-riding reason the kids want this in the first place, is so far away from where a kids mouth is you have to lift the helmet virtually off their head to get it to "work".
Really annoyed I wasted money on this!

Buy a white bucket and pretend! (Like the good old days ;-) )

Good service as usual from Amazon though.

I'm not going to lie to you, I didn't buy this for any of my children. This was for me. 43 years old and still a big kid at heart! It wasn't too fiddly to assemble and I'm in the early stages of MND so my grip isn't too good. It doesn't change your voice but then who needs to speak when you can use the Force! My journey to the Dark Side is now complete and I can scare people who come to the door! Go on, forget about the kids and treat yourself!

We bought this for my 5 year olds birthday, together with the star wars fancy dress outfit from another shop! He thinks they are fantastic and is dressed up as 'Captain Rex' for 50% of his home time. However, the helmet is a bit difficult to put together and the voice changer (which isn't) is hard for him to talk out of. He has to literal lift the helmet up and backward to be able to talk into the microphone! This doesn't appear to bother him now he has got used to it, and it certainly has not spoilt the hours of fun he has with it. Overall, I would recommend.

Item has to be assembled by buyer, which can be awkward and time consuming. If it is dropped on the floor, all the bits start to come apart, and it all has to be clicked into place again. It is also very heavy when on the head. The voice changer action does not work that well. But despite all this the kids do have great fun with it!

My boys love this helmet. They are addicted to the clone wars animated tv series. we got this toy second hand and even though it comes apart in half sometimes and it's a bit heavy for a 4 year old, they both love it.

Bought this for my 7 year old nephew. Looks the biz, the recorded voice exerts from the film are excellent but the voice 'converter' is very poor ..... just a load of static. Difficult to assemble, feels like you are going to break it when you 'snap' parts together. Overall a disappointing purchase due to the voice converter - high hopes for fun with this but just doesn't live up to it's promise.
