5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the investment, but get it before the movie comes out. Limitation of 350 copies. 30 Aug. 2015

This is more of an investment than a book. It is a limited edition book that comes in a clamshell case. The limitation number is 350 of these special books...that is all they made of this special edition. It comes in a really nice clamshell case and it also includes several original high quality individual prints that are each signed by the biggest names in illustration art. Oh yeah, these individual prints are frame-able. Now that Disney has purchased the Star Wars franchise and with a new movie coming out, expect a renewed interest in everything Star Wars with the release of the movie this year.

Yes the images in the book can take up two pages. But the dimensions of the book are huge, so you get a high quality image in the book that is extra large as it spreads over two pages. The pages in the book are meant to be looked at in the book anyway, unlike the individual specially produced signed prints.

3.0 out of 5 stars Poorly laid-out 15 Dec. 2014

A nice addition to the ongoing series of limited editions, but several of the images were two page spreads that did not need to be, and only took up part of the 2nd page leaving a lot of wasted white space. The layout is pretty poorly designed for a book this expensive. So while the content and format are great, the book is virtually ruined by whomever was in charge of layout.
