Introducing the Stanley Classic 236ml Pocket Flask from Stanley.
Top Customer Reviews
Immediately apparent on handling is the different size and shape to more conventional designs. The flask is tall (160mm high x 75mm wide x 30mm deep) and has a rounded, triangular shape in cross-section, meaning it falls into the lap of the hand very comfortably. When stood upright and viewed end-on, it looks a little like the Flatiron building in New York's Times Square.
Fully lined stainless steel construction to avoid any tainting between different fills, the exterior is finished off in the traditional hammerite green finish that is characteristic of the Classic range. The stopper has a large, gently knurled top (can be opened with gloves) and screws on and off securely, forming a tight knock-proof seal. The stopper is also permanently attached to the hip flask by a large hinged plastic arm which appears strong enough to last. It is made out of a soft-ish, flexible plastic that is not likely to shatter.
I've had mine now for about eight months and after several trips it appears to be weathering well. I can envisage it becoming a regular companion on trips and developing a lovely 'patina' through time. Definitely has provoked a few 'oohs' and 'aahs' among company that appreciate a good hip flask!
Finally, for those who appreciate their single malts (or enjoy sharing it around!), this flask holds more than the average hip flask (8 fl oz), so it is suitable for multi-day trips. A minor downside is that this extra capacity means it is too large to fit comfortably in a hip pocket and weighs a bit more when full.
Summing up: highly recommended; will become one of those little personal treasures and will undoubtedly add to the atmosphere and enjoyment of many special occasions in years to come.
Also I'd have liked to get this engraved but there is very little space (only really the bottom) however it still makes a great gift.
EDIT: Another positive is it has a really wide mouth so no need to worry about spillages or remember to pack a funnel.
it didnt leak
it holds more than the average flask
its a little tinnier than i hoped
the badge is just a sticker, which i can see it falling off quite easy.
its good. but not sure its worth the price i paid.
It looks stunning, feels lovely and built solidly, even the plastic clip.
It also holds almost a whole "half bottle" of whatever you drink whiskey/rum etc
For whisky/brandy etc I now use a much smaller flask which I hardly notice in my pocket and holds just enough to give a couple of warming nips if I am out in the cold weather for a few hours. And if I'm out for a days hiking I carry a much larger plastic water bottle in my rucksac and put up with the taste.
So Stanley sits in the cupboard. I'd sell him on ebay if I could be bothered.

Absolutely ideal for taking a drink of water with you on a day out. These flasks are well made and are easy to carry being a flat design.Published 1 month ago by P. Reading
Does what it should but not the quality Stanley used to have.Published 2 months ago by Dave bookworm
Overall - a pretty cool and robust hip flask. However, the cap cover (only aesthetic) fell off in 10 minutes so I had to superglue it back on.Published 2 months ago by PMH78
A great flask for carrying port in. Good construction apart from the use of plastic on the lid hinge area. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Treehugger

Its ok, but i was expecting it to be insulated so i could put hot tots in it but it is not. Usual stanley quality but expensive as a simple hip flaskPublished 6 months ago by Mikey
