Using a pair as trestles for a table top one of them collapsed within ten minutes of assembly.
The problem is the plastic shelf, which is held in place with four plastic tags. In my case, all four ripped off, allowing the legs to splay outwards. Luckily, no-one was nearby to be hurt.
Another problem with the shelf is that it is not rigid, but folds easily, allowing the horse to close if pushed from side to side.
I will be sticking to metal folding trestles in future as these tend to have locking struts.
June 2013 3 years and one extension on, they have not survived the same as my 30 year old wooden handmade tressles. They are looking very tired. OK for light use but that is all.
I would recommend the saw horse to anyone.

I bought these to prep and paint a door, but one horse collapsed and broke. Made of cheap plastic and good only for light work. A realistic price would be around £10 for the pair.Published on 8 July 2013 by Not Titmarsh Again
