I bought these to do a kitchen worktop - they are very stable but when the work top slipped when handling a tab broke off the middle folding platform. They are fairly cheap I guess so perhaps cannot expect too much but now this small but critical integral plastic tab is broken they are now not really up to the job without using something else to stop the legs splaying. It would have been better if these vulnerable parts could be more substantial or replaceable.

I specifically bought this saw-horse because it specifies the maximum load capacity (445 kg load capacity).

Using a pair as trestles for a table top one of them collapsed within ten minutes of assembly.

The problem is the plastic shelf, which is held in place with four plastic tags. In my case, all four ripped off, allowing the legs to splay outwards. Luckily, no-one was nearby to be hurt.

Another problem with the shelf is that it is not rigid, but folds easily, allowing the horse to close if pushed from side to side.

I will be sticking to metal folding trestles in future as these tend to have locking struts.

Much more compact that the old wooden ones I made 30 years ago. Great product and excellent delivery service.

June 2013 3 years and one extension on, they have not survived the same as my 30 year old wooden handmade tressles. They are looking very tired. OK for light use but that is all.

I have found these to be strong and the hinge shelf extremely handy, most other saw horse's do not have this shelf. I have used in conjunction with a board as a work bench and find them great and easy to store away after use.

I should have bought a saw horse years ago instead of trying to balance pieces of wood on chairs etc. This saw horse is very sturdy and with a stand between the legs, very practical.

I would recommend the saw horse to anyone.

At the end of the day, these are made of plastic and can never be really stable. However, they are cheap, easy to store and use, and with a board over them make a fairly stable platform for most tools or to stand your work on.

    Very handy.

THIS PRODUCT IS VERY GOOD BOTH ON PRICE AND USEFULNESS IT IS QUITE LIGHT & may look weak but if it is used as they should be they are very good. Unlike wooden saw horses they are also higher, ensuring less back ache. Handy to use for a past table or garden table etc. enjoy them .
