This is a terrible product and the Seller DEUBA GmbH & Co are an awful company to deal with. This product literally fell apart after a few months. The arms bend under the weight of just 1 coat, and the metal balls at the end of each arm fall off and cannot be re-attached.
I have complained several times to DEUBA GmbH & Co and all I have had back is an automated response that states I need a "publicly sworn and appointed consultant" to write a report on the product. Ridiculous.
Avoid this product and avoid this company!!!!!

Where to start? The product came with missing pieces so had to get spares from the manufacturer. I finally put it together following the most unclear instructions I have ever read. It decided to collapse within a month and is no longer able to be reassembled.

The instructions are appalling, the fixings are awful threaded rod which screw into the sections. These do not tighten well (they could do with nuts) and as a result, when coats are put on the stand, the top sections lean over...our stand actually fell over due to this a couple of days ago.

A coat rack has two purposes: stand upright and hold coats. This product is of such poor design quality that it cannot perform the task of standing upright. I have had it for 4 months and in that time, all three of the joints have perished. The poles are held together by a threaded piece of metal but the threads on each section of stand are so thin (only about two threads of metal), that with any weight, they just buckle and your left with the leaning tower of coats. Garbage. Avoid.

A mixed experience with this, firstly the good:
The base is solid, this will not be easily knocked over, it survived an active toddler.
It is relatively easy to assemble and the arms will take a decent weight.
Once up it looks more expensive than it is.

The bad:
Survived heavy coat abuse for 9 months before giving way! Although the poles and arms are strong the weakness proved to be the long screw that joins the central poles together. This bent over rendering the stand useful only for hanging toddler play clothes as we had to remove a pole!

The ugly:
Everything is well made except the round balls that fit over the arms, these were a bit hit and miss re fit. Our kit did not appear to have enough of the smaller size but too many of the larger ones which meant every time you took a coat off you got a plastic ball!

All in all a reasonable purchase just not up to the heavy coat abuse imposed upon it by a family!

Pleases don't waste your money on these coat stands. I bought mine on another popular website. It looked great at first, but within less than a week it bent over and collapsed. It is now waiting for the refuse collection.

It is ok for the price but I'm not sure how long the top spinning part will last. It has come loose twice already and will come loose again if we try to spin it to get to the coats at the back - this is because the spinning part is badly designed.
The parts are made of not such great quality, hence price, and the design to me is somewhat ugly, the top hooks look particulary cheap. With its heavy marble base it does hold a lot of items without fear of toppling (we have 5 or 6 coats and 2 or 3 jackets and a few scarves with plenty more room left), this aspect is great. So, it doesn't topple at all, it is stable with a full or half load but keep your eye on the spinning part at the top as it will come loose.
The delivery box was damaged as was the chromed umbrella water trap disk. The nylon bag the large hooks were in, was covered in rust, so I thought the hooks would be rusty too but they weren't rusty at all. They just needed a quick wipe down.

Postives:
Apart from it's sleek looks, I cannot say much here as it broke on the 2nd day of it's construction.

Negatives:
This stand broke on the 2nd day of it's construction even though care was taken to move it around (I followed the instructions on how to move it around [holding it vertically]).

Also, when it arrived, the marble base had a large scratch on it which didn't look too great.

On a side note, the hex socket tool given to screw in the base hex screw was too small--it didn't fit the hex screw hence did not fufill it's duty.

After investigating why the stand didn't last too long, I have deduced that the stand doesn't do too well when only holding a single heavy rain coat--it won't topple over but it puts too much strain on the rod to the point of snapping which from my point of view, is really silly.

In conclusion:
The stand is not as sturdy as it looks and can break pretty easily. Especially considering it's price, and the fact it won't last long (not more than 2 days for me), it is not worthy to be chosen.
