If you want mystery, a fair turn of the wheel for karma and a tale that's well written, then you'd do well to pick up this novel. Add to this some very good twists, excellently written dialogue and an ending that is pretty hard to predict and you've got an absolute corker of a mystery crime novel. Whilst I haven't read any of Julie's work before this title will ensure that others are moved up my To Be Read Pile pretty quickly.

Slow start but ultimately entertaining mystery set in Minnesota. Liked the spunk of the main character and info about tv news.

This is Julie Kramer's first book. It is a relatively fast-paced murder mystery centering on Riley Spartz, a television journalist. One of Riley's police contacts turns her on to a cold case involving a potential serial killer stalking women named Susan. She begins her investigation and uncovers facts about the killer that the police had missed. The plot is well developed and the story takes some unexpected twists. The "back room" view of TV journalism is interesting and Riley is a likeable, believable character. I enjoyed this book and will read more books by this author.
