Anyway, back to the review. This book is simply great fun; nothing more to say. My only problem now is that having discovered Mr R I am hooked on his style and will have to read more and more at the expense of my studies in ancient Greek philosophy and my hobby of collecting fresh fish bones. Oh well.
Keep up the good work Mr R!
once again Terry has done it again in his second stairway book. Not only was it just as funny as the first, again there are some really useful tips for hours of naughtyness that I fully intend to try regardless of not being an O.A.P I've since bought a few more of Terry's books including the third stairway one which I intend to read in one sitting. I've looked at a few negative reviews and can only say 'lighten up, if you can't grow old in the manner you want to while you still have all your faculties and freedom of speech, then it's a sorry state we live in!' I'm all for pensioners behaving badly if it's all in good fun and hope I'm just the same in my dotage years! well done Terry for once again making me laugh out loud or as us younger ones would say.....lol
Well i'm afraid it's not.
Terry R has done it again with a very funny diary of the ups and downs in the Ravenscroft household.
Very easy to read, full of everyday encounters that don't go quite as expected.
Just love the charity shop chapters.
Roll on STH-3.
I recently got Stairlift to Heaven 2 on my Kindle.
Unfortunately I had to put it down on more than one occasion as I couldn't stop laughing.
I literally had tears rolling down my cheeks several times.
I can relate to a lot of what Terry has written about and I'm only 46!
This is by far the most recent book I have read and well worth getting.
Keep up the good work.
