A real twisted masterpiece for open minded fans.Negative plane delivers one of the most progresive black metal albums of all time with a killer production . The perfect black from the other side of the Atlantic. JUST BUE......

5.0 out of 5 stars Stands alone 11 Aug. 2013

I felt compelled to add another review for this album to increase the rating shown. Negative Plane has been, and still is, an up-and-coming band in the underground metal scene that deserves more attention than they receive. The "black metal" genre label gets thrown around rather casually anymore, and I find it hard to pigeon-hole Negative Plane in this way. There's thrash/black/doom and even some surf riffs on this album, and all of it comes together to form something rather unique.

The music moves from crushingly fast sections to slowed, almost dream-like passages. The vocals are harsh but not at the forefront of the sound, and create an overall experience of being lost in the darkness that is Negative Plane.
4.0 out of 5 stars WORTHY METAL! 10 Aug. 2012
By JOHN L. KOWAL - Published on
Format: Audio CD
After one good and full listen, it reminded me of the early British SABBAT (There's a Japanese Sabbat also) but a bit more darker and better production.
What you get here is THRASH METAL with a dark and shallow atmosphere, well played and something I look forward to listening to again eventually.
