I got this to write a paper about stained glass. It's written nicely, with a good collection of pictures and easy to read text. Worked for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful overview 11 Dec. 2010
By zinniagirl - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I think the previous reviewer must have this book confused with something else. This is a scholarly, though accessible, book that provides a thorough introduction to the subject. Brown wears her erudition lightly & writes beautifully, and the numerous full-color illustrations are ravishing. The origins of stained glass in the Middle Ages is fully discussed, but its subsequent history and contemporary practitioners are shown to be equally important.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arrived Timely and In Good Condition 9 April 2013
By Diansky - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
As I said, timely and in good condition, better than represented to my untrained eye. Affordably priced.

This is a used book, but it looked pretty pretty to me! Packaged in a breathable plastic wrap, in a padded envelope. I may be a real nerd, but I was so happy. Thank you, Seller (marriottm7) for your care and attention.
