Same old, Same old

Just as boring as the last one, same jerky movement completed two missions in under an hour and was bored stiff throughout just gave up on the rest, graphics are crap as well defo not worthy of being called next gen stick to PS4 if you are going to buy it and save money, but I'm done with the Hitman games now haven't changed in twenty years.

One star cos I can’t actually play the game after pre ordering it from Amazon.

The official blog said the PS5 disc comes with a digital download code for the PS4 version. It does but you can only download the PS4 version and run it on a PS5, it’s just some way IOI got around PSVR not working. So anyone buying this thinking they can play on their PS4 while they wait for the PS5 to become available will be disappointed. Ironically if you buy the PS4 disc that will have a working digital edition for the PS5. There is no mention of these facts on the official blog or ot the game box or voucher. Rubbish.

There is no way to contact Amazon to discuss this and as I had to open the packet to find the code doesn’t work I can’t return the game for the PS4 version. Also rubbish.

Always been a massive fan of Hitman and this 3rd instalment in the trilogy is the best by far

Graphics : on playstation 5 unfortunately you don't get a native 4k like Xbox series x but don't let that put you off it still looks absolutely stunningly beautiful at 1800p

Frame rate : runs at a perfect 60 on ps5 with dips on the xbox series x

Duelsense controller: feels amazing with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers while of course the Xbox series x don't have this at all

Levels: massive and vast.. Big open areas full of details and hidden areas and items. Really well thought out

Final thoughts... Hitman is a continuation of if it's not broke don't fix it, well adding on what they have build since the 2016 Hitman. If you have not liked the Hitman games before.. This won't do anything for you still.. But if you have been a fan of the series.. This is a must PLAY 9.5/10

Great game, having owned every hitman game I was bound to enjoy it. Is it similar to the last 2 games? Well yeah, that's like complaining CoD or Fifa is too. The missions and locations are great and added bits keep the gameplay fresh with multiple ways to infiltrate and assassinate giving great replay value. Graphics are great on the PS5, and owning the last 2 gave me the option to add the levels to this one which is a bonus (I had just installed hitman 2 to my PS5, and you have to access the download via that game) The PS4 download code you get its so you can play it in VR as VR is class as backwards compatible for PS5, so unfortunately if you want the option to play VR you have to also install the PS4 version too (the code will only work on ps5). The only issue really is the messing about installing multiple games and copies to unlock the extra features, this could have been simpler and taken less time. Overall I am enjoying the game and recommend it to fans of the series.

A satisfying conclusion to the hitman trilogy, if it weren't for those problems

I have read some reviews about the game and one of them is about how it looks completely the same as the previous two hitman games. Well it is but I didn't seem to mind about it as the games, including Hitman 3 has their own unique style, allowing the players to come up with different methods. This is what I love about the hitman games, find lots of ways to eliminate your target, even though there are times where I screwed up and had to go gun blazing. This game could have been a masterpiece but once I was in the game, there were already problems.

The story is unforgettable and to me a masterpiece. The story of the trilogy is about 47 and Diana trying to take down an organisation. And after playing two games, I was so excited to play the finale of this trilogy. You know what it didn't disappoint. IOI said that this game will be darker than the previous two and it is. At first when I was playing the first mission, I thought it's the same all Hitman. But it was until the end of the second mission when things aren't going well. This was when I realised the story is indeed coming to a close. While it not only references the previous two Hitman games, it also references the older Hitman games before it, including the underrated Hitman Absolution. The final two missions reminded me of Blood Money when Diana 'betrays' you and you wake up and go on a killing spree. The final mission allowed me to eliminate everyone and I was like, hell yes. This story is the best in the trilogy and I will remember as the one that ended it all.

Originally, I was about to criticise the short length but the good thing that IOI did was that they allowed me to import levels from Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 into Hitman 3, thus allowing me to play the whole trilogy while taking advantage of the Dualsense features. It may not have 4k resolution but that didn't really bother me as the game is still beautiful.

The only problem I had with this game is its online function. The game can still be played offline but whenever I want to play online just to level up and gain more skills in this game, it would crash, saying connection failed or the server isn't working. That annoyed the hell out of me. I wanted to play the game while taking advantage of its online features but instead, crashes came up. There would even be times where I would have to replay a mission again because of the connection problem. And oh boy, it's not my internet's fault, it's just that the game is refusing the online treatment. Good thing Hitman 3 didn't turn out to be some Cyberpunk 2077 problem.

This game is good. I would have called it a masterpiece but because of the bugs, connection crashes, I would see the game as amazing.

Probably the darkest Hitman story to date. A good ending to a trilogy of games that have been made over the last 5 years. IOI have reinvented the Hitman series and taken some inspiration from the earlier Blood Money game. My only gripe, is that in this third installment, you can only kill targets using 3 stories per level The previous games had at least 4 stories per character kill. I felt short changed by this, but there are always new accident kills to find when replaying each level.

I hope to see Agent 47 in more games soon, after IOI have released the James Bond game.

Brilliant game. First Hitman game I've bought in about 15 years.
Good variety of maps, great graphics, interesting story and plenty of replayability. Ignore other reviews - "same old same old" - it's a sequel so it is going to be more of the same. And developers did not say you could play Ps5 version on Ps4 or download ps4 version with Ps5 disc
