Then our PoE splitter is work with you, it can received PoE power, and break it into DC power and Ethernet via 2 cable for your Non-PoE device.
  • ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • Question: Why the voltage of the PoE splitter is unstable when I test it?
  • Answer: If Poe splitter is not connect to terminal device, means there is no load. It will trigger light load protection, and voltage will be unstable. The voltage will stable if gives 10mA, which is 0.01A load.
  • ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • Question: How do I know whether it work with my device or not?
  • First confirm which power interface, what voltage and what current your device need. For IP camera, you can choose DC 5.5*2.1mm port with 12V voltage, like our PS5712G, PS5712TG, For Type-C device like Raspberry Pi, you can choose Type-C port with 5V voltage, like our TYPEC0502G, TYPEC0503G, For Micro USB device, you can choose Micro USB port with 5V voltage, like our USB0502G, USB0503G.

    Awesome bit of kit!
I recently had Giganet install an ONT – they wouldn't install it near the rest of my networking gear so I brought the network to it (so to speak) 😅The ONT I was given has a 2.5mm barrel plug running at 12v and drawing a maximum of 0.6A so this 12v/2A PoE adapter was the perfect choice ⚡I measured the inner/outer diameter with a set of digital callipers but the inner (ID) was tricky so I found a 2.5mm drill bit and dropped that down the barrel – the fit was snug so I went ahead with the purchase.Using a Unifi PoE injector between the WAN port on my router and the patch panel / wall port for the ONT, I plugged everything in and the ONT fired up without delay 🥳Still achieving 1gbps symmetrical via Giganet and I can now run my home network off a single UPS in the 'server room' (aka a small cupboard 😆)

I purchased this as an easy and simple way to power my Raspberry Pi 4 which runs Home Assistant.
It is powered by a UniFi PoE port, drawing around 4W. I've been running this now for a few weeks and it has been very reliable. I've not run a speed test, but I can see the port has sync'd at Gigabit Ethernet speeds.

This is so easy to use, you simply plug into the ethernet port of the Pi, and the USB-C power port of the Pi- and then attach your ethernet cable. It springs into life without any trouble. Very very simple.

I have a POE swtich for my CCTV and home network, but my modem ("home hub") is in another part of the house. I wanted to power the modem using PoE so it was covered by my UPS and this device worked a treat. It's also reportedly 1 Gig, (unlike some other 100M devices) which makes it more future proof if I ever get faster internet. Now if the power goes off all my network stays operational including the internet. I'm using it with a Unifi PoE 24 port gen 2 switch and had no issues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Half of a PoE Adapter for Echo Hub
Reviewed in the United States on 15 December 2024
Colour Name: 12V 2A DC Plug PS5712TGVerified Purchase
This PoE splitter worked perfectly to create an inexpensive in-wall solution to power an Echo Hub with an existing ethernet cable while still allowing data to pass through to an existing wall port. All in, the total cost was less than $20. The USB-C version of this adapter won't power the Echo Hub since it only puts out 5 volts. The Echo Hub also requires 9 volts with Power Distribution (PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) support. This 12-volt version of the splitter supplies plenty of wattage (24 watts) but doesn't have a USB-C connector with PD and PPS support, so I paired it up with an AITRIP PD65W Fast Charging Type-C USB Module. I couldn't be more pleased with the combination. Both run cool at the 12.5 watts needed for the Echo Hub. This combination is significantly less expensive than buying a PoE to PD3.0/PPS converter like Amazon would have us do for a clean in-wall installation and works great until someone releases a reasonably priced all-in-one adapter. Just be sure you have plenty of space in the box or wall cavity.

I tested one of these units with a Station G2 meshtastic radio and it was able to power the unit in the LV mode (as was expected). My intent is to remotely power (no Ethernet needed) some small ESP32 (type) devices.

If I am being completely honest, I cannot think of too many uses for a USB-C PoE splitter which is only able to handle 2.4A at 5v.

These are rated to output 2.4A at 5v (only) so they are NOT well suited to the following SBC:
      Raspberry Pi 4 (3A minimum)
      Raspberry Pi 5 (5A minimum)
