Product description

I read this book several years ago. I found it to be insightful and has some excellent pictures. What is described in the book goes against some of the "traditional" teachings of Aikido. It encourages you to break away from the normal confines of "traditional" training and develop your Aikido to a new and exciting level. It also teaches and encourages the student to ignore the trappings of the ego and a need for gratification. --Google

In this text, Huw Dillon encourages the Aikido practitioner to push aside the ego based quest for achieving higher grades and for defeating an opponent, and adopt a more spiritual approach to the art.
