This is an exploration into the mysterious "Earth Energies" that dowsers find at ancient sites such as stone circles. It is essentially a pilot for a series that was never made, which was a shame. The pilot programme is supplemented by interviews with the members of the team, namely: Hamish Miller (the dowser), Ba Miller, Julie Soskin (the "sensitive") Rupert Soskin (the researcher) and Jim Lyons (the academic). The pilot is presented by Clare Grogan of Red Dwarf and Altered Images fame.

The interviews that precede the pilot are quite extensive. Hamish Miller discusses the Near Death Experience which transformed his life and values. Jim Lyons, a qualified physicist who worked in the aeronautics industry and at the University of York gives an in-depth interview, discussing how dowsing relates to ideas in modern physics (a bit mind-boggling!). Julie Soskin discusses her life and experiences as a clairvoyant (or "sensitive" as she prefers to be called). Ba Miller discusses her experiences as a healer. Rupert Soskin (son of Henry Lincoln no less) discusses his life as a tour guide and outdoor man.

The pilot episode is set at the Merry Maidens stone circle in Cornwall. The members of the team investigate the circle in their own ways, Rupert discusses the folklore and history with Claire Grogan, Hamish and Ba dowse the Earth Energies and lay out tape on the ground so that we can see the patterns, Julie Soskin quietly communes with the stones by touch and discusses her impressions with Clare, Jim Lyons demonstrates the effects of Earth Energies with practical experiments including muscle-testing and EEG.
