A heartbreaking merry-go-round story of guilt, angst, loss, passion, grieving and forgiveness. A story of how undeniable love and it’s consequences can effect not just 2 people, but EVERYONE around them. I love piecing a story together, back and forth, past and present, crumb by crumb so I really can’t put my finger on it as to why I LOVED this story so much when it was a little frustrating and annoying in parts but I just loved it. It kinda consumed me when it was nothing really that I hadn’t read before. My first Lexi read was AMAZING, and it won’t be my last.

I wish I could give this book more stars!
It broke my heart and was beautifully put back together in a way that only Lexi can do. It's safe to say I will not be the same after reading Arrow and Mia's story. Breathtaking! I can't wait for more!

That was a rollercoaster ride of emotion. Mia and Arrow were ment to be together, but Brogan stood between them. Sad story of how the tragic accident changed everything. I'm so glad that Mia didn't go any further with Sebastian, because I'm not a fan!! Bailey a good friend, not asked to many questions but still looking out for her friend. Bailey and Mason need to sort themselves out as well!!

Absolutely loved this and cannot wait for more.

Well done Lexi Ryan 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

A completely different approach for lexi, arrow and Mia's story is one that will keep you guessing until the end. You can't help but fall in love with both main characters and in a strange way the secondary characters as well, can't wait for their stories.
Plenty of twists and turns and back and forwards, highly recommend this one

What a fabulous story as soon as you've read the prologue you know that Spinning Out is going to be one hell of a read.
This story has so many aspects to it, it's not just a simple straight forward romance and it is written brilliantly with the past and present coming together in equal measures but even that isn't straight forward.
From the very beginning you can feel the hurt, dissapointment, sadness and even deceit, it runs on and off throughout the storyline and at 462 pages there is no getting away from it.
There's Mia and Arrow but then there is Brogan too just to complicate things and with all the other characters, they all play a brilliant part whether good or bad.
We soon become very aware of the dreadful accident that happened New Years Eve which involved Mia's brother Nic and Brogan, we know Nic died but it takes a little while to realise that Brogan is still alive and at this point we have know idea what state he is in until we learn through Mia's visits, it's heartbreaking and again you feel the hurt, sadness and now the guilt and remorse.. Mia and Arrow have plenty of that.
As Spinning Out unfolds, it's heavily centred around Mia, Arrow and Brogan, their love triangle if you like but also the NYE accident... What really happened, we are kept guessing and wondering who is really at fault here, we have know idea and that is the case until the very end.
Its a painful wait filled with a lot of mixed signals and emotions, Brogan and Nic lost their lives but we got the end result we were hoping for even though it was at a terrible cost.

Mia and Arrow are two different people who have been through a lot. It all stems from one night where a tragedy occurs. They are both grieving. Mia is in a numbed down state where she doesn’t seem to be in the living world. Arrow is an angry man whose dealing with his whole life changing before his eyes. He fell onto a wrong path and is now on house arrest because of the actions he took whilst he was on that path. He is now in the same house and Mia is working for his family. This brings a lot of the old feelings and regrets back to the forefront of their lives.

Arrow is a privileged kid, from a rich family whilst Mia isn’t. She’s working for Arrow’s family so she can make ends meet. Arrow is deeply wounded by the tragic night, and he hurts Mia with his jibes and insults on more than one occasion. Mia is hurt but she’s also not dealing with her pain and her inner feelings. She is acting like those feelings do not exist. You can tell from the very beginning that this book was going to be a heartache and that the characters had a long journey to get through.

Arrow has a lot of internalised feelings, anger, guilt and he doesn’t see himself as truly worthy. He uses those inner feelings of anger and takes it out on Mia in the form of insults and harsh words that really does gut her because it makes everything real and she’s really not ready to deal with those feelings.

The story goes back and forth, so you get the full picture. You get to see the regrets, the choices people made and you get to see how everything changed. It is not all depressing, there is love and hope sprinkled amongst the words but with this book Lexi has shown us that through all the sadness, tears, misplaced anger and guilt, you can find happiness.
