This is a very, very robust case. It feels more expensive in the hand than it appears. I think it would look much nicer if it was tinted a little, like a subtle smoke colour, but for all intents and purposes it looks good (when it’s completely clean). Agree with the other reviews that say it's a fingerprint and smudge magnet... because it’s so brilliantly clear. One and only genuine design flaw is the finger/thumb print reader area. If this was simply open along the top bevel line which faces you when holding the phone (the material is sturdy enough to allow it), i.e. if that one little sliver of material wasn’t running along the screen edge, it wouldn’t then, via actual presses of the biometric button, dig into the screen protectors edge and create an air bubble thus spoiling the perfect application I managed to achieve only hours earlier. Disappointing. Especially seen as I would have thought using a case and screen protector from the same company would have worked well as a pair. Immediately reverted back to my softer rubber case by a different company following some pretty aggressive “rubbing out” of the air bubble underneath the screen protector as by this point it had pretty much finished curing to the screen. Overall screen protector is looking now ok to the point the bubble is no longer visible when the light catches it - but as I know it’s compromised it's going to bug me... as I don't really want to be forced to use the spare protector I’d bought (which I assumed I would only be using in a year or so’s time from now) as of course nothing lasts forever in perfect condition. Damaged screen protector in only a matter of hours after application via a case by the same company is pretty poor form though, let’s be honest.

This phone case suits the Sony Xperia 5 II to the bone. It makes the phone stand out as gorgeous as it is. Also, it covers the phone nicely protecting it should it ever fall out of the hand. I found that this case gave me proper grip in order to hold the phone, whilst having no case on the phone kept slipping out of my hand.
One of the things that bothers me about all the cheaper cases is that the camera shutter button was rubbish. This one works perfectly and have no complaints about it at all. A must buy for a Sony Xperia 5 II owner.

I've used the Spigen liquid crystal cases on all of my phones. Fit is always spot on, without making the phone too bulky. The buttons feel solid and responsive, and I actually think it makes the fingerprint reader more reliable as it's easier to guide your finger over the correct spot.

This particular phone (Xperia 5 ii) has a glass back which makes it very slippery. The case stops it sliding off the edge of the sofa & tables!

5* buy, and well worth the small additional price to protect an expensive phone!

All the button tabs work well, the holes for the power button, charger, speakers, headphone socket and camera all line up precisely. The cut-out section for the camera has a small ridge to protect the lens from scratches and damage when placed on a surface. This case has been well made with air cushion technology on each corner and fits tightly around the phone.
