A devastating storm.
A destructive pathogen.
No known cure.Only the Heirs of Eden have the answer.
As the Ebora virus takes hold, Archie, Daisy and Isabella - the Heirs of Eden - find themselves trapped in a magical cave with instructions to save humankind.
Only they can deliver what the walls show them.
As they work out how to escape, the ghost, Cain, discovers a means of spreading the deadly Ebora pathogen rapidly around the globe.
He's going to add particulates of the virus into human dreams.
Can Archie, Daisy and Isabella harness their extraordinary gifts and trust in their unlikely status as the Heirs of Eden to make sense of the murals, escape the cave and thwart Cain's shocking plan?
But are they too late?
As the sun rises across the world, more people wake up afflicted.
The clock is ticking. Earth's capitulation to Ebora will not wait.
Some say the world was made in seven days.
In seven days, we will die.

About the Author
Review
"To put it simply, Spider Web Powder was AWESOME! It was a beautiful sequel to Power and Fury for the change in plot and action but continuation of the characters and ultimate goal. It was lovely reading a sequel that had its own unique story but successfully carried on the character development and themes. For these reasons, Spider Web Powder was upbeat, scandalous, and all-consuming."
International Girls and Books
"Spider Web Powder was a hearty continuation of the series, just as thought-provoking about religion and war, and even more relatable to teens in 2020 than the previous book. We didn't hesitate awarding it 5/5 for a moment!"

About the author

EDEN CHRONICLES is a whirlwind Young Adult fantasy adventure series with dystopian overtones and a story that links the present day with the time before Adam and Eve. (It's eerily accurate in relation to the goings-on in 2020!)
Archie and his sisters are humankind's standard-bearers. Only they can save the world from a grizzly end by finding a series of clues and undertaking a series of tests that lead them into the fabled Garden of Eden where the key of life will be revealed.
A classic British fantasy series with a rich, multi-threaded story that twists and turns all the way to the final part, book six, THE KEY.
If you read Harry, Percy and the Narnia series, there's a pretty good chance you'll enjoy the Eden Chronicles.
There are seven books in James' Eden Chronicles series debut. They are:
- TRUTH (Prequel, a novella)
- Power and Fury
- Spider Web Powder
- Blabisterberry Jelly (or, The Chamber of Truth)
- The Dragon's Game
- The Eyes of Cain
- The Key
Also:
- Books Set 1 (Books 1,2,3) is a massive book-set of books one to three - paperback and digital!
- Books Set 2 (Books 4,5,6) digital only
James lived in London where he was a journalist before moving to North Yorkshire with his young family, and a large, blind, rust-coloured sausage dog called Rigby. These days, James writes day and night, fire-fighting his household and saving his now smaller Datsies from badger holes.
A keen cold-water swimmer and general health enthusiast, James works in a cabin by his swimming pond and has been known to emerge for school talks and the occasional lecture.
Find out more by joining James's author newsletter which you can get to at his website, jameserith.com where you'll find an exclusive version of the entire series in one big ebook.
James does do social media but, in his own words, 'it's rarely' and 'pretty badly'. If you do find him lurking on any of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any others, send him a message to get back to his books.
His latest work, (due out 2021) is a time-travel thriller called "Time Stamp", which moves from the future to the past to save the present. Details are on his website.

This is wonderful YA fiction in the very, very best tradition: adventure, ideas, great storytelling, courage and resourcefulness against dark forces, and the love of friends and family… and plenty of humour and surprises. My children and I can’t urge you to read this enough!
And the next Eden chronicle is out and bursting with adventure. The three de Lowe kids,Archie,Daisy and Isabelle are back in the adventure but some things need solving, and quickly! This is an exiting yet suspenseful book great for ages 8-11. Once you pick it up you can't put it down.
The three de Lowe kids and old man Wood are stuck in a cave with no way out. Will they ever get out? And if they do what will happen next?
My favourite thing about this book is when you get to a really exiting bit it goes and talks about something else for a bit. I love the way it is so suspenseful you're alway wanting more. For example when they are about to find out about the rugs and then it goes and talked about Kemp.
This is a really great book and I can't wait for the next one to come out!
Certainly my book of the year so far and a must have holiday book for kids (and parents!).
The only bad thing is the wait for the next one!
"The Chamber of Truth!" (Jonathan Quinto, 11 y/o)
