I'm still left wanting more, more, more.
More mystery, more hot sex, more action and obviously more Lucian!
Bring on the next instalment, I can't wait to hit Canada! SR Grey definitely knows how to grab you & keep you begging for more.
Love this instalment great easy nighttime read,
S R you done it again, you kept me wanting so much more , I can't wait to see what happens in the next instalment where Lucien and Delilah reach Canada, bring it on , lol xxx
Wow for a short story this is smoking hot and will have you swooning this book has everything you need the storyline and character's are just fantastic you should read novellas 9ne and 2 before this worth more than the 5 stars I can give it well done
Oh wow, where do I start, I am seriously loving every minute of this series of short novellas. I'm not sure who I love more Lucien or Dahlia - especially with her insatiable appetite! You do need to read these in order.
Dahlia has been brainwashed by Lucian's cousin 'Selene' and now all that Dahlia wants is sex ! Can Lucian save Dahlia and return things to how they were?
This is a brilliant installment, this one picks up right where Part 2 finished. The emotions, turmoil, chemistry and love between Dahlia and Lucian can be felt throughout. I absolutely love this series, I'm totally hooked and can't wait to read the final part 'Lead into Sacrifice'.

I was hoping Selene’s spell didn’t work and was pissed to find out everything she was doing to keep these 2 apart. Dahlia and Lucian love each other so much what’s so wrong with them getting a HEA? Then Lucian’s mother showed up!! I can’t stand this woman and I am once again pulling for these 2 lovers. I honestly think there is more to the story than what everyone is telling Lucian. Things just don’t seem to add up at all. I will sit here and bit my nails until the next book comes out. Fingers crossed that my poor Lucian and Dahlia can finally get an HEA and be together forever. If you guys haven’t read this series… please DO!!! I am addicted and need the next one ASAP!!
This one gives us more information about the type of being that Lucien is, but doesn't really divulge all the details. It also introduces us to new character – Lucien's mother who is just as mysterious as her son, but a little less caring about Dahlia than Lucien, regardless of her being the love of his life.
Spellbound continues the sexy and steaminess of the previous 2 novellas, but it also shows more clearly the strength of Lucien's feelings for Dahlia. It's well written is a super fast read and I never lost interest which is always a good thing. :-)
I did feel that more could have been said in this story, and that it was a little too short for me. I wanted more information about Lucien's family and in particular this future that is supposedly mapped out for Lucien. Hopefully all my questions are answered in the next installment.
Overall, and intriguing, fast and sexy book/series.
Thank you to SR Grey for gifting me with a copy of this book.
We still don’t know what Lucien is or what his role in the world will be, but loving Dahlia seems to be making him more human, something his family is desperate to ensure doesn’t happen. Selene’s plan was to turn Dahlia against Lucien, but his mother, Lucienna'who we meet very briefly in this book'believes it would be best if Dahlia were dead. After rescuing Dahlia from his family for the second time, he decides it’s time to find out what his future holds and what his family’s plan is, so he and Selene head to Canada to meet a man that’s like him, who just might have all the answers and a way to keep Dahlia safe.
SPELLBOUND is book three in the Laid Bare series, and while the series has me intrigued, I felt this story was mostly filler, nothing more than a bridge between books two and four. It’s a novella, so it’s a very quick read and everything has a rushed feel to it. Bring on book four.
Lucien continues to discover his strengths and weaknesses as he tries to protect Dahlia from his family's machinations. Something is up and no one will tell him the complete plot. His parents are devising a way to become super powerful using his strength... can he honestly allow them to wield such power without restraint?
I am not usually a paranormal reader, but this story, with such a magnetic main character is different. His love affair with Dahlia is passionate. As he discovers his attraction to Dahlia, he also begins to experience love for the first time. Will this weaken or strengthen him? His family does not want him in touch with his humanity, but of course, they are not to be trusted, right? The journey of discovery Lucien is on draws you in where you cannot stop reading this story.
Cannot wait for the next installment in this series!
Things are starting to come to light as to what exactly Lucien is but still has not yet been revealed, we are however given a much clearer look as to just what Lucien's "destiny" really is.
Deliah goes through a literal crap shoot in this book...it seems like everyone wants her dead.
The story moved along at a steady pace and also gave us a little snippet from the upcoming book Sacrificed: Laid Bare #4
I'm extremely intrigued to see what happens next...we were left on a level note, not really a huge cliffhanger but it left you wondering what will happen next.
