I did notice a few spells repeated from Cassandra's other books, but I guess thats to be expected since I have alot of them. Also , this book lacked a basics of how to on casting spells ( which Cassandra usually includes in her books-maybe it was left out due to publishers wanting to keep the book small?) which beginners would need as theres alot more to spells than just lighting a candle and saying a chant-you have to work with the energies and powers with your feelings and mind, using intent and visualisation to get the job done, so if you're a complete newbie you may want to team this book up with 'Everyday magic' by Dorothy Morrison or 'Earth power'by Scott Cunningham as they both give the important basics, along with Edain Mcoy's 'Making magic' which gives a very thorough grounding in magical skills . These are just minor points though and I am very happy with the book, it will have a permanent place on my shelf.
It would make a great gift for the witch or wiccan in your life.
The spell ingredients are simple to find using such things as candles, coloured threads and herbs etc.
A really simple and exciting guide to creating what we desire!
