This is a well written and very entertaining romantic novel with a clever slant on American presidential politics. The author's second book, PERFECT STRANGERS, is also excellent. Both are highly recommended.

Not my cup of tea at all. Very middle class, predictable and not "relatable" for me. It was a definite "easy read", ideal when you don't need something too taxing on the brain. The characters had "amazing" jobs, a LOT of money, were able to just jump on a plane at the drop of a hat and mostly interacted perfectly with each other when disagreeing - even after meeting after x amount of years! Hence not believeable for me to my world, meaning I didn't warm to any of the privileged characters. That is not to say that this book wouldn't NOT be for some people (sorry to stereotype - but think some Daily Mail believers) - it just wasn't for me. A very standard - Alright.

The most enjoyable book I have read for years!
Witty, intelligent, emotional, intense. All these elements make for a truly gripping story. First love is very powerful and not easily forgotten and Annie and Jordan's story stirs up painful and pleasant emotions in us all.

This is a fantastic book! I really couldn't put this book down for a second it was so good. A great book that isn't a typical chick lit but will appeal to all.
