Format: Paperback
After four volumes chronicling Spawn's existence, this volume deals with a change of direction for Spawn. After his experiences in volume four, Spawn now deals with more typical vigilante actions.
Fans will be please with this new direction as previously, his mission to exact revenge on Jason Wynn was becoming a little strained. Now he deals with murderers, child abusers and other despised sections of society.
The final chapter of volume 4 set up this new direction, and we now see less of the Violator and Jason Wynn. The plot is more psycological, dealing with the conflict between Spawn and his previous life as Al Simmons.
Overall, the stories keep you hooked and I'm looking forward to volume 6.
