Read this in a day, it was so good. It's a childhood friends to lovers story but it's so well written that it involves you. If you like romance then you will love this.

Was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book I have read by Anie Michaels & they have all been fabulous.

The story of Charlie & Asher was beautiful & at times heartbreaking, I shed more than a few tears whilst reading. This book is a must read that I have recommended to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

Can't wait for more books by Anie

Aw this was one of those books where you just wanted them to make it from day one, and when all that inbetween icky painful stuff happened, it hurt. As a reader I love all that icky stuff. Frustrating, but necessary or books would be very short. This book was precious. The author delivered a beautiful love story, with childhood friendship, cute teen love, growing young adult love, then the angst, then........

Please read. It's just a lovely lovely story and I promise you you'll love it. Beautifully written, and I want a park like theirs near me so I can stand on a bridge and wait for my guy.
I've no problem recommending and hope you enjoy it as much as I.

Another brilliant book by Anie Michaels....she has very quickly become one of my favourite authors.
Now generally speaking I am not as fond of books that start in childhood and continue on as I. Much prefer to read about the present...however this was very necessary for us to understand the connection of Charlie & Asher from that point, it was also divided into 3 parts which I very much liked.
Now Charlie & Asher had a love like no other...a strong bond...a connection of heart and mind but one moment in time severed that completely leading to the destruction of a pure love and leaving devastation for them and us the reader.
It was heartbreaking to read and to feel...and I felt every last bit...but what happens when they meet again?
Read it....find out...I was pleased that Charlie stood her ground and equally pleased there was no tooing or froing for the whole book! She was a great character and not afraid to accept when she was wrong. Asher...totally hot...totally sweet and a beautiful soul who simply made a mistake and lost his whole reason for living but he was determined to make up for his error in judgement...whatever it took
So once again an amazing read and I cannot wait to see what she brings out next

Anie Micheals created a love that you would not forget for a long time. Charlie and Asher were characters that i loved from the start and were rooting for throughout the whole novel. They had a love that was perfect and something all of us dream of. All us girls dream of having an Asher.
I loved her style of writing, it brought forth so many emotions and i was unable to put this book down. I don't want to give out any spoilers so i will just say that it truly was an amazing book and i would definitely recommend it. I can't wait to read more from this talented author.

Nice to see a whole story in one book and I mean a whole story.
At first I was getting a little testy that so much of the story of them as children was being told, however, it became apparent that this was to show their love building over time and I think, to show Charlie's slight reluctance at first.
The story continues to unfold during their lives and Even though I knew something was going to happen to upset things I hadn't imagined what did.
Highly recommend as I had trouble putting it down.

Charlie and Asher just wow.. you think you can guess what comes during the relationship from high school to the later years but there is always a reason. You really cannot predict it all. This book had me glued and unable to put it down.I love Anie Michael's books and can honestly say she is very much a favorite of mine. I loved the story and how she captured the characters. It had my heart pumping. Saying no. And a few tears. 100% recommended..

I'm afraid to say I actively disliked this story and the way it was crafted. The central characters are shallow, unsympathetic arrogant even and it wasn't even 'a happy ending' in my opinion though it tried to be. Was this author really holding up the possessive and aggressive traits of the male character, and the easily manipulated nature of the female character as desirable? It certainly wasn't deep enough to allow me any other conclusion.
