A huge thanks to Mali and Joe for this amazing book! I came across a snippet which I liked, bought the book and it blew me away.

It's a brilliant book filled with spiritual wisdom from start to finish. And for that reason, it doesn't do the book justice to say it's just a book about relationships and finding/aligning with your soul mate.

This book in my view, takes it place next to other New Age/Spiritual classics which I love, like 'Ask and It's Given and 'You Can Heal Your Life.' This is like a bible for modern day, freedom based, loving relationships. I can't recommend this book enough, for men and women who live authentic lives true to themselves, and want or have relationships, which empower themselves, their partners and their lives. So, so good!

I'm not sure if it's because I'm cynical or envious of people that are deeply in love that I want to think soulmates don't exist, but I don't. I'm not going to say that I had a transformative experience reading the Soulmate Experience, but what I did get was something wholly unexpected - I opened my mind to the possibility of not necessarily finding a soulmate, but creating a soulmate experience with the person I'm with.

A bit rambly I know, but I liked this book and I don't want people like me (unforgiving cynics who believe that people who are madly in love with their partner need to wake up) to immediately reject the Soulmate Experience simply because it has soulmate in the title. If this book hadn't come to me via a recommendation I might have given it a pass simply because if it's got soulmate in the title it's not going to be my cup of tea.

Now what I really like is that this is workable. I get what the authors are trying to (very gently) guide the readers to try.

I'm not certain the Soulmate Experience is going to change my life, but it might just help me in my current relationship to find that level of intimacy that has eluded me in other relationships.

I received this book as a gift and found it to be truly inspirational, For some readers it could even present a life changing experience. In essence it’s a handbook on how to improve your relationship with other people by fostering good connections at all appropriate levels. At first take it appears to be aimed at couples involved in a romantic relationship or single people wanting to be, but on deeper reflection much of the advice and guidance given could also be applied to non-romantic situations. The authors, Joe Dunn and Mali Apple, have produced a book full of wisdom derived from practical experience both from their own lives and from helping other people achieve better relationships with each other.

The book is written in a very lucid style making it a pleasure to read, and its structure and detailed index makes it easy to dip into when needed. It’s divided into two parts: “Creating A Soulmate Experience”, which covers the identification and removal of things that prevent you from having a deeply connected relationship; and “Keeping The Soulmate Experience Alive”, which shows you how to nurture those connections once established, to ensure the magic doesn’t fade over time.

There are 12 chapters, with each discussing an important concept. Each chapter is split into easily digestible sections, each one covering a specific aspect of that concept. Most sections have one or more separately highlighted notes encapsulating important points made in, or derived from, the main text. In addition each chapter has a brief summary at the end, and both of these features help you remember things you’ve learned.

This book is so much more than a "how to" guide for couples committed to (or seeking) a happier romantic relationship. While the main focus is on how to fully connect with your signficant other, the insights and wisdom within this book offer a much broader scope.
After all, *every* relationship we have (including the one with self) is about `connection', to one degree or another. Yet most of the time we react from old patterns, based on core beliefs that are flawed, outdated, and/or perhaps even harmful.

What if you could change your experience so that you approached every conversation with openness - and a willingness to learn something from it? What if you could live more synchronistically, more in tune with yourself and what's at the heart of your relationships? What if you could learn to feel full acceptance for each person you interact with - and yourself?
It is possible to feel a profound and lasting connection to those you love, but it does take work!

There is real wisdom in this book ... a real understanding of what it takes to keep a relationship vibrant and alive, exciting and expanding, and filled with joy and deep connection. Of course Mali and Joe understand that not all soulmate connections need be romantic. Speaking from my own experience, there can be just as much learning, transformation, and reward in a non-romantic connection, especially if there is a special context for it.

Mali and Joe deliver their guidance, insights, and suggestions in a clear, easy-to-read narrative, as though they're holding your hand as you read the words. Some of the ideas may be ones you already know. Some may be stretching your "comfort zone expansion" too far.
