Product Description

There are no freshmen in the college of love, and they're about to graduate to madcap mayhem when a sorority prank goes crazy.

Out to steal a trophy from a local bowling alley, the kids accidentally unleash the imp - a sadistic little spirit with a diabolical sense of humor. He creates demons and loves sexy women. He's the original party animal, inviting you to come along and die laughing - just like everybody else. The Sorority Babes won't live through initiation, but don't blame that cute little killer. He's evil by nature and funny as hell. And even if you can take a joke, it kills you.

PLOT...
As part of a sorority ritual, 2 young female pledges and 3 male companions must steal a trophy from a bowling alley, unbeknownst to them it contains a devilish Imp who will make their lives a living hell.

This is a crazy 80's movie that's really low budget and cheesy in every way but that's what just makes it brilliant, if your a big fan of cult 80's movies then look no further this is a must seek out Blu-ray especially as 88-films have released a great disc! The movie has a bizarre plot that plays out in a funny way with plenty of blood and boobs, more boobs though I would say, the cast is not bad, Linnea Quigley is probably the best in the movie and the only one who is a stand out actress as she has many roles in 80's movies making her an iconic scream queen from back then, the movie has a great music score throughout, its worth picking up if you love this genre of old movies!!

Blu-ray looks great in HD restored from the original camera negatives.
Features are fantastic for the money as you get a feature length making of which is on for 2hrs-15mins, plus an introduction from the director, audio commentary on the movie plus the full making of, trailer.
Region B only, 80-mins running time, 1988.
English language.
Comes in a black case, and a limited slipcover with so many first orders.

Total cheese from the 80s- and if you don't like these type of movies stay well away. So what you get here is bad acting, bad directing, bad lightinig, cheesy cringeworthy dialogue, multiple breast shots and a few vagina too. And a bowling alley and an imp voiced by a black guy. But there's something utterly special about 80s horror movies, true nostalgia pulls the strings for me partially, but these movies seemed to be made with made love and that usually shows.

As the title would suggest this is very over the top trash that sees a couple of girls being dared to break into a bowling alley to steal a trophy return it back and then be accepted into the soriority. But things go wrong when along with their male accomplises they unleash an imp who has been trapped in the trophy for the last 30 years. Still with me?

And so the imp grants wishes and then turns on the kids possessing them and getting them killed. The Imp itself is hilarious with its lines, however isn't used that much in the movie. The FX make up is very poor and apart from a head rolling down the bowling alley there is no violence or gore to be found here.

But what you do get is cheesy 80s fun which mean likable characters, fun dialogue and beautiful women- so there's Linnea Quigley in a main part and Brinke Stevens is here too. The 'hero' kid is played by Andras Jones who would go on to star as Rick, Alice's karate chopping brother in Nightmare on Elm Street 4 a few years later. Silly, silly movie but stacked up against the others of its era, it's a good one.

This 1988 sci-fi horror comedy [aka The Imp] is a 1988 sci-fi/horror B movie that focuses on three lads who gatecrash a sorority initiation night in a shopping mall and get trapped inside with six ‘babes’ after releasing a mischievous Imp.
As soon as this comes on the screen the music and filming scream late 70’s early 80’s and you know its not going to test the braincells. The acting is basic and is like the script of Scooby Do and Porkys crash into Leprechaun and every other teenage 80’s movie. Strictly cheesy camp fun for the beer and pizza brigade where the girls spend most of the first half running around in their underwear being disciplined with a paddle, getting sprayed with squirt cream or having extremely long shower scenes allowing, lots of gratuitous nudity, while the final half is filled with on screen nymphomanic, an evil imp with a sense of humour, Zombie sorority sisters and some gruesome deaths!
Not to be taken seriously, but enjoyed as a mindless piece of ‘B Movie’ mayhem. Obvious it may be, but it does give a few laughs and gets a grudging ***, but best seen with the ‘mates’ for maximum fun.

This is truly Scream Queentastic! It has cheese dripping out of every frame. From its absurd title to its ridiculous plot. This film boasts the mega Scream Queen line-up of Brinke Stevens, Michelle Bauer, and Linnea Quigley. Stevens and Bauer are two sorority pledges who have to break into a bowling alley and steal a bowling trophy to accomplish membership to the said sorority. But all goes wrong as an evil imp is accidently released from the bowling trophy. So along with three nerds and hot punk babe Quigley they must find away to defeat the Imp and escape with their lives and clothes in tacked. This is trash, but it knows it. Cheesy characters, bad language, violence, zombie babes and most importantly of all wanton nudity. In fact in a stroke of genius, Bauer's character has a nymphomaniac spell put on her. Assuring that she spends most of her screen time in the buff. But aside from the T&A this film also has some nice comic moments. The Imp is a soul fly wannabe and has some great lines. George 'Buck' Flower gives a great comic performance as the Janitor. But when is all said and done this is a must see film for any Scream Queen fan. It's gratuitous and thoroughly shameless and I loved every minute of it.
