All the cons are true: 1) they have this heel that can rub. I think by buying 1 full size larger and putting insert and wool sock takes care of that completely 2) hard to get on and off. Well, they are a lace up. With beautiful gold metal ringets thingies and leather laces. 3) laces are delicate and are breaking on some people. I can see that but mine haven't. I guess they're not so rugged. 4) wood heel peeling for some people. I haven't seen that as of yet but I can see how that could be. But they are so stylish :) 4) Not insulated. ? They are insulated a little bit. Not like the Joan of Arctic. But they don't look like that cluncker of a boot. They look awesome. Just put on a well made wool sock and wool liner. 5) leaks in water. Mine have not leaked water. So far water proof. Feet are dry and warm. Oh and did I mention I love the look :) :) Love these boots!!
Pros: Comfortable, true to size, comfortable, good arch support and they look super sassy
Cons: The cords they come with, which are made of some sort of suede, break very easily and you will have to get something else to tie your boots.
