Sony Xperia XA UK SIm-Free Smartphone is one excellent phone which not only sounds great but also with the added advantage it looks good too.
The Sony has a long thin screen which allows the phone to be capable for good visual qualities which is the main bonus point when I was looking to purchase a new phone. Everything on the screen is ideal and easy to use.
I have fitted a Micro SD card which provided me with much needed extra memory which I would also recommend as with the many apps this phone can use because of the excellent and fast processor.
Everything about this phone is First class and from the workings of the phone to the actual attractiveness of the phone, this is certainly a phone which stands out in the crowd.
Why I like this phone is mainly the ease of use, everything about it was straightforward. It has some excellent apps which come under the heading "Introduction to Sony" along with many more apps exclusively for the Sony Xperia range which provide many hours of fun and relaxation.
I love this phone for the main reason it is first class throughout, and that includes the look and workmanship of the phone. Everything about the phone is quality,
The one main item I love about the phone is how quick I can get the camera to take a photograph, it is the simple task of pressing the small button required and I am ready to take a photograph which is especially important when those moments surprise us and I know it is a moment I want to photograph. In the past when I would take a photo using my Smartphone by the time I got the phone working the moment would be long past. The photographs are exceptional and this is another reason I love this phone is how clear and wonderful they are, with the added advantage with a swipe of the finger I can go from still photographs to video in seconds which makes this phone special.
There is an app called the Album which holds all those memories and with the added advantage this has so many hidden extras I do not believe I will ever get to know them all!
I love this phone and I am so pleased with my purchase, from the audio qualities, the ease of use and the presentation this is a phone which will hold it's own in the Smartphone world.
I am happy to recommend the Sony Xperia XA UK SIM-Free Smartphone(White) as a top quality phone which comes top of the class in every category which matters to me as a customer who certainly needs a phone which works with speed and top quality sounds throughout.

Negatives: I've only had the phone a few days so the negatives so far around limited to what I already know about the product. I know at some point I will need a micro sd card, I also know at some point it will crack, lets face it they all do so defiantly need to get a casing and a screen protector to delay the inevitable. The back of the phone is liable to finger print smudging buts that probably because this isn't a fully metallic back probably Sony cutting costs, but its still a premium feel and look none the less. The placement of the function buttons on side of phone is lower and will take some getting used to and the power button sticks out slightly, not had a problem yet but I Imagine it could at some point pocket-turn off. I'm not convinced the battery life is all that but I was excessive downloading apps yesterday and had 10's or so running in background. It does however charge very quickly especially with their quick charger gimmick which takes just 10 minutes or so to get to 50%.
All in all I think I saved £350 or so in not getting an Iphone. But you get what you pay for, this a premium feeling phone with powerful specs/HD and actually it looks a lot better in person than the picture gives it credit for. But be realistic with these reviews as it is at the more affordable end of the smartphone range but I could easily pass this off for a £400 mobile to friends (if I cared that much) and for a simpleton like me this handy peice of kit at a 3 star price is leaps and bounds ahead of my old smartphone from 2014 even running from a similar android system. I've added two recent photos to this review from the back camera. Fingers crossed I have the same views in 6 months time!

Positives: I've downloaded between 50/60 apps since I've had this phone a week or so now and still all functions are slick. Very premium Iphone feel to this product when you swipe and move between apps and functions which to me just oozes in class. The screen is extended but not visibly wrapped around edges like galaxy S6/7 but enough to extend field of view and add an extra quality to this product. The 5 inch screen really makes the phone feel like just holding a screen a times as other than on/off aux and volumne buttons down the side all the functions like home screen button are in the software. The phone is big enough to watch now tv or netflix from but still maintains that pocket size something I always look for in a mobile. A back high quality video and camera and a passable front camera is making me consider why the hell I bought a £300 digital camera recently, there was just no point in having both . The connectivity and communication between apps/ emails and general day to day functioning of this phone is great and couldn't hope for more so far although its only been a few days since I've connected it up to my emails, social media's etc but owning a ps4 means I can take full advantage of a neat little PS4 app which links my phone to the system and visa versa.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 July 2016
