The fighting aspect of the game is decent enough and does the job but it doesn't feel special and doesn't seem as well balanced as other fighters. You have several different attacks including 2 special moves that can be unleashed when you fill up your power bar as you land attacks. The problem with this is that the bar goes up when you attack and goes down when you're being attacked so it feels like it can be quite difficult to regain a fighting chance at times when you're losing. No rewards for defense. The story mode is pretty weak and is just a case of fighting several characters, with some story about Mr Miyagi (from The Karate Kid) training you. It was pretty dull stuff so I just skipped most of the dialogue between fights.
What does make this game fun to play though is the create a fighter, as well as the way it utilizes some of the PS Vita's key features. Putting your face into the game is great and works pretty well, My character actually looks exactly like me, even down to the clothes I chose! I even successfully created a friend of mine by taking a picture of a photo he had on facebook, on my computer screen... You have plenty of clothes and weapons to unlock and purchase as well so there's a decent collecting aspect to the game that will help make the game last as it will take a while to accumulate enough money to purchase them all.Read more ›
The story mode is pointless and just has a series of fights
Te combat should have been better and there is not much to do in this game
For £5-10 it is ok but not worth the £18 price tag
Yes you can customise your character an fight online but it lacks depth in almost every aspect.
Story: Not much of if any story to this game other than you have to defeat more challenging opponents each round due to your mentor challenging you to them, then obviously you become the greatest warrior etc. (There is a bit of a story about each character before you fight them that's sometimes quite funny)
Sound: Nothing special but ok sound, A added thing though that I do like is that when you customise your perfect warrior you can voice them for when they win a fight/start a fight etc.
Graphics: Again nothing special here either, I do think they could be improved a bit better but they will suffice. One or two things that are good is the ability to not only create your own backgrounds using the PS Vitas camera but also take a photo of your face to morph it into your character.
There is also allot of different clothing weapons and moves to have in this game so even though theres no story theres allot to collect. So buy now if you see its cheap
One of the best games for this console. Customize your player with your own face or someone else's.
Fight against another with so many choices of how to dress or where to play.
Gameplay on solo mode is kind of clunky and you need to fight a LOT to unlock all costumes and accesories that will make your characters look more realistic.
Dont pay too much.

Not the best fighting game in the world but then again £4.99. Worth it for the novelty factor alone.Published 2 months ago by Mike
Great game. Lots of fun to play on your own or with others via multiplayer. Character creation is also good, especially since you can insert your own face using the vita's camera... Read morePublished 13 months ago by will mckittrick
