I use these for connecting to my tablet for sound and music without annoying my wife, and they work superbly well. The music quality is very decent and the convenience of having no cable is a godsend. And the bit I really dissagree with is a bout battery life. I have charged these once since I got them two weeks ago and I have listened every single night to about an hour...and they are still going strong. Battery life is good - easily longer than the period I expected, and definitely long enough to make charging *no problem at all* - hellfire I havent had to do it once!
Yes, I bet the ones for £100 are better. But I am glad I kept the additional £50 in my pocket.
A very happy hubby :)
I bought these for using when going to the gym and walking the dog as although the Noise Cancelling ones I have are exceptional, I do believe they are too heavy to run in and drown out too much sound when walking down the country lanes in my area.
They came is very posh packaging and the headphones are incredibly light which makes them perfect for running in. They are plastic but don't feel like the cheap plastic you'd get from cheaper brands and the teal colour finish is really appealing.
Connecting the headphones via NFC to my Xperia X or my partners Samsung Galaxy S6 was absolutely problem free and they connected by simply touching the units together.
Out of the box they took around 45 minutes to charge fully using the micro USB cable and had quite a lot of varied use throughout the first few days, constantly being used for upwards of 30 minutes to an hour and then switched off again. The headphones didn't need charged again until 4 days later which for the price I thought was pretty good.
The sound quality is what you'd expect from a Sony product, incredible clarity, no annoying hisses or breaks. Using them with Spotify with settings set to extreme quality were rewarded with great sound. My only negative with the sound is that although they are loud, I don't think they go as loud as my other headphones but this may be a hearing protection setting which many companies limit their devices on.
All in all I thought these were a good buy, more so as a second pair for myself but wouldn't hesitate to buy them as my only pair.
Reviewing headphones is not an easy thing to do; namely because no ones listening experience is ever totally the same, however having been used to the mandatory headphones that come with an i-phone for the last few years I was excited to try something bigger and wireless.
First impressions are positive: out of the box they boast a simple elegant design and feel relatively light weight and comfortable to wear. The on/off button, volume and track controls are conveniently positioned under the right speaker making it easy to navigate through my play lists. The bluetooth set-up was also seamless and they immediately connected with my i-phone. I walked at least 5 meters away from my device and the connection remained strong adding a sense of confidence to the listening experience. I was however disappointed that there isn't currently a driver available on the Sony website to support a bluetooth connection to my i-mac, which seems a tad archaic for a mainstream company such as Sony. It is something that they ought to provide as soon as possible.
Audio quality on the whole I found to be average to good. Listening to a range of different music the speakers are able to cover a spectrum of ranges well, however bassy and the low-end sounds seem to get lost in what seems to be a slightly tinny sound from time to time. High end sounds are good and pronounced and compliment the over all crisp sound.
Overall and for the price I would recommend these headphones for everyday consumer use, however the lack of audio range I think would prove difficult for any pro use.

According to the manual these headphones can only be charged when attached to a laptop running Windows 8.1 or newer. That's really restrictive, Sony you can do better than this!Published 12 days ago by Paul Davis

Battery life on these made them unusable. About 3 hours on one charge, which itself takes an hour to recharge. You can't recharge them while you're wearing them either. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Amazon Customer
