Sound: Good bass and treble. Perfect for all audio. Sound can get very loud, I usually only listen with volume half way up and I like my music loud too. Not too leaky either so definitely wearable in public.
Build & look: Get what you pay for. Cheap but sturdy plastic, and wont break if you drop them. Will fit all head sizes. Buttons are very tactile and well placed. You also don't look like an idiot wearing them. All in all excellent for price and very comfy.
Electronics: FASTEST CONNECTIONS EVER. By the time I turn them on they are instantly connected. Charges quickly and lasts a full day.
Almost a year on, though these headphones have been great for travel I have noticed that comfort has been in decline. The material covering the speakers have thinned, now cutting into my ears regardless of the headband's tightness. The headphones are predominantly plastic, but durable.
Functionality wise, they're still performing as well as they did from day 1. No issues connecting via Bluetooth and the battery life is still doing well. I tend to charge at the end of the day and where them during a 3 hour commute, as well as during the work day. The built in microphone is clear, the volume is decent, and as a relatively cheap purchase, they are an okay pair of headphones. The over the ear cups don't muffle outside sound effectively, but with music playing they will do. Just don't expect them to block out loud conversation near you or to protect you from noise on public transport.
All of this said, less than a year of using these headphones has convinced me that there's merit in buying the £100-200 pairs of noise-cancelling headphones.
If you want a pair and are not too bothered by amazing sound quality, like if you just want some tunes while you work - just buy it
If you plan on wearing them for a long period, I think you're better off looking elsewhere, these things grab your head real tight
I didn’t really think they would last that long with him but I think that’s about a year now he’s had them and they are still going strong. The battery on them last a while, aren’t constantly charging them. Sound etc for me seemed fine, they can be quite loud and defo block out outside sound.
++ Good sound quality
++ Decent battery life
++ Packed well
++ Easy to connect to with NFC
++ Comfortable to wear but they could do with a bit of headband padding though.
-- The bass is a little lacking, which is expected from lower cost headphones.
-- The build quality is a bit cheap and feels flimsy.
-- No 3.5mm headphone jack!!
