I recently purchased these headphones to listen to Mp3's via my PC.
So far I have to say I'm impressed. I wanted a big pair as we have two PC's in the same room and I wanted to listen to my music rather than gameplay behind me. They are not too heavy and I sit here for hours at a time and can with these on quite comfortably. The sound quality is good however I do find the movie-audio switch a little redundant.
If you want to buy headphones to carry around with you you are barking up the wrong tree. Mp3players headphones they are not.
If you want crystal clear perfect sound, Then quite frankly, sorry you get what you pay for.
If you want a good set of comfortable sturdy headphones for your Hi-fi or PC that dont sound like they were made in 1989, not forgetting for a reasonable price by a brand leader, then buy these headphones.
As an afterthought too.. Nice long lead :)

Having had Earphones for over 20 years, I fancied a change for my PC (TV watching, music listening and game playing).
I can recommend these headphones as, for me, I really appreiciated the space of sound around my ears as opposed to those "In Ear Plugs".
I felt a true experience of loudness without distortion and a satisfiying Bass.
I think other reviewers who have rated this product lower must already have an established relationship with "Headphones". I for one recommend these if you have used Earphones for a while and are looking for a change.
On a negative note, they do look VERY big on my head. So theres no way I'm going in public with 'em on.

I bought these recently so I could watch TV and play games late at night without worrying about keeping the volume low to avoid waking up my partner or our baby. So far I am very pleased with them - they seem sturdily built, the three metre wire is just the right length for where I sit and the sound quality seems excellent. Although I don't have a lot of experience with quality sound systems, these headphones have sufficient bass, don't 'bleed' sound that I have noticed and when playing a game they convey where a character or sound is relative to the on-screen character -- i.e. if someone's walking behind me to the right, I'll distinctly hear the footsteps behind and to the right, which is brilliant, and incredibly immersive when gaming.

There is a switch between TV and music on the side of them, although I haven't noticed that this makes any difference. They are comfortable to wear and I think the build quality seems solid, with no noticeable parts that would be inclined to break. One thing to note is that they are very big and bulky, and would not be suitable for use on the move. However, if you're looking for a cheap pair of headphones to use at home, I would thoroughly recommend these based on daily use for the last couple of months.

I bought these headphones to connect to a digital piano and for listening to my iPhone at home. The packaging was good quality and surprisingly the headphones came with a 3.5 convertor.

The cans were a little bigger than I expected but fitted over my ears rather than on. The sound seemed good to me, even turned up quite loud. There is a long cable, which is helpful for playing the piano.

I did notice a very slight popping when I turned the volume right up.

I would recommend these headphones for every day use and for use on long durations - they were really comfortable and the adjustment for head size was good as well.

i'd bought these as i have a pair of sennheisers which i found uncomfortable after 10 mins or so (I have enormous big ears)
these are recommended if you have the cooler big type of ears. i could not recommend them to those odd type of people with little or no ears

Was looking for a cheap-ish pair of headphones that still have a good sound to replace my broken Sennheiser HD202s (excellent cheap purchase, by the way). From what I could make out, these appeared to have similar or better spec and were much cheaper. However, I was instantly shocked when I started listening.

I thought maybe the headphones were not in properly - no.
I thought I may need to turn up the base on my MP3 player - nothing happened.

Basically, what you get is a virtually non-existent base as well as a bit of distortion when listening to an MP3 player - a much worse sound than the Sennheiser HD202. I instantly purchased a new Sennheiser.

Pretty shocked at how many good reviews there are. Maybe I would think this sounds OK if it were the first supraaural headphones I had listened to. However, the sound is not much better than cheap in-ear headphones, only infinitely more comfortable (the one plus point - phenomenal comfort makes lengthy listening possible).

If you are at all passionate about music, even if you are looking for a cheap purchase, avoid these and spend a little more. If you want the cheapest supraaural headphones you can find, you may buy these.

I bought these yesterday in for almost twice the price in hmv, big mistake after looking at the price on here. so i tried using them with my ipod and to be honest they sounded quite tiny and i was quite disapointed. but then i plugged them into my mixer to b used with my turntable and they soun ded great, very warm with a good range. so i wouldnt recomend these with a cd player or ipod/mp3 but i strongly recomend using them with some kind of amp. great cans!
