We now have 3 of these little beauties in the family and find them really easy to use, great quality and very reliable. I bought the w-55 as an upgrade for my old sony dsc-p9 camera which although going well lacked the space and resolution i required. The flicking through the pictures on the screen is considerably faster compared to my older camera.
The one required extra for this camera is a large capacity memory stick (2gb is great and pretty cheap) which allows you to take 100s or 1000s of pictures as it only comes with a tiny onboard memory capacity. I would also recommend picking up a case for the camera.
