I like the voice of Christopher on the previous cds by the band, so I was unsure about this one, with a different singer. I heard a few samples and still wasn't sure. But I took a chance on this cd. On first hearing, I felt that I didn't like it (or the singer, Rob) as much as the earlier albums. But I have to say that after a few plays, I have grown to love this and I am now not sure whether I like this better than the ones with Christopher. There are some beautiful, melodic tracks here - and haunting like Lacrimas are, at their best. Rob's singing gets better as the cd progresses and he actually sounds very like Christopher at times. I intend to buy The Grandiose Nowhere next!
